Used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Velar Consumer Reviews
Gorgeous Vehicle for smaller driver
I love a car that not only looks beautiful, but handles well in all types of weather. The Range Rover Velar performs well in heavy rain and snow. Tight steering, plenty of horsies, and a beautiful rumbling vroom, make this a fun car to drive. The one downside would be its compact interior that isn’t comfortable for my broad shouldered husband but is perfect for my small 5’4” frame. Good for city driving but lacking space for road trips with the family.

Constant Engine problems
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my ongoing concerns regarding a 2019 Range Rover Velar that I purchased on November 19, 2022, from Jaguar Land Rover Sacramento. Immediately after driving off the lot, I noticed the coolant warning light was on, and the central control screen—responsible for functions such as the AC and reverse camera—went completely black. I returned to the dealership the following week and informed them of both issues. They topped off the fluids, but I was not provided any documentation to confirm this service. The screen issue, however, persisted intermittently. On July 17, 2023, the coolant warning light reappeared, and the screen continued to go black. After inspection, the dealership claimed they found no issues with either the coolant system or the screen. The coolant light was cleared, and I was sent on my way. In February 2024, the coolant light came on again. This time, I insisted on a thorough diagnosis. They finally identified and repaired a coolant system issue under warranty. Now, as of June 4, 2025, I am once again experiencing the same coolant warning light and screen malfunction, along with new concerns. The dealership is now claiming there is an "inspection oil leak," although I’ve seen no oil stains or signs of leakage at home. My vehicle has only been in my possession for 2 years and 6 months, yet it has experienced recurring mechanical problems since day one. With my warranty expired, the dealership is now quoting me over $3,000 in repairs, primarily for issues I’ve been reporting since the initial purchase. I believe these are long-standing problems that were never properly resolved while under warranty. I am requesting assistance in resolving this matter, as I do not believe I should be financially responsible for repeat issues that were reported early on and insufficiently addressed

My favorite Range Rover model yet
This is my 5th Range Rover so it is a brand I migrate to. Of the Sport and Range Rover, I find the Velar a more comfortable luxurious powerful SUV. My only disappointment is the lack of Navigation.
