Kids almost grown and on thier own in 17'. No need for minivans anymore. Tried out 4 cylinder SUVs . No gettei up,, I really appreciate the 6-cylinder acceleration to of the Soreno keeping my wife safe. We took AWD for granted until it snowed. The Kia plowed right through the 8" of wet snow (not light powder). I dropped off the wife and picked up my son and TRIED to power slide in a empty mall parking lot. We were disappointed for the vehicle stopped instead sliding and swerving like the mini vans did. Should of taken the wife to show her how safe Her SUV is. MPH is great for the size of the truck. 25mph aggressive driving , 28-33 mph chilling. 5 years and no issues. Finally looked at the manual for maintenance at 100,000 miles. We will get 250,000 plus miles out of this investment!!!!

I love the vehicle itself not the engine issue ... i now have to do a oil consumption test as it drains oil alot, have had to add oil after getting oil change like every 500 miles .

I've owned several SUV's including two X5's. My 2017 Sorento SX is a very capable vehicle, smooth, quiet, and responsive. The X5 may brake stronger, corner harder, but the kia can be fun to drive at quite a brisk pace if needed. It's also loaded with features, heated steering wheel/seats, ventilated seats, adaptive HID headlights, advanced cruise control, and a host of safety features.And the infinity audio system is great. other than oil pressure sensor,(replaced under warranty) I have had no problems in 56k miles.AWD system is another strong point.
