Looks: Great! Functionality: Poor
I bought my new 2025 K4 right off the lot and loved it at first. Looks incredibly sporty, people think it’s an EV based off the look, super cool user interface on the electronic dashboard. Very nice. However, as the months passed, I found some strange inconveniences that popped up. First, there was a short fuse for my windshield wipers, which caused them to turn on and off sporadically while in use. There was no way for me to control the wipers and I had to take it into the dealership to fix. Not to mention, if you live in an area with lots of snow, if it accumulates by the wipers, there will be issues like this. Very poor design for snow clearing off the base of the windshield. Next, I had an issue arise where my car would not unlock/remote start at all. This issue was due to a loose connection on the positive terminal of my battery. This would jostle around with everyday use and disconnect randomly, causing my whole vehicle to lose power. Could not start remotely or anything. I’m currently in the process of Kia diagnosing and fixing this, as they often have long wait times to book appointments (I also haven’t been very impressed with their customer service). I asked if a mechanic could just take a look very quickly and they booked me in for an appointment in 3 days, which I have to leave my vehicle there the whole day. No shuttle service or loaner vehicle provided. Bottom line with this car - it looks very cool and is fun to drive, but this compromises the functionality. There’s so many things that can go wrong electronically in the car that can cause issues. It seems that Kia has taken shortcuts (poor/loose battery terminal connection) that causes headaches. If I could go back, I would not have bought this car.
Really Great Car
Purchased a Kia K4 from Rick Case Kia recently. Very satisfied. The K4 is very well appointed and equipped. It handles nicely, performs great, ride, accelerates smoothly and runs very quietly. If you want a smaller car at an excellent price that runs, handles and performs like a more expensive car, the Kia K4 is the car to buy and Amer El Haj is man to see at Rick Case Kia in Sunrise, Florida is the dealer to see.

Love
I love my car. My only complaint so far is the sun visor. It doesn’t extend, so on my drive to work every morning, when the sun is perfectly between the visor and mirror, it’s a little inconvenient. It’s also a little hard to grab because the dent is deep and the visor itself is pretty hard. Other than that it has everything I wanted and the morning haze color is absolutely beautiful.

K4 Wolf Grey GT Line
I’m leasing it for two years, and so far, so good! I love the interior—Kia is definitely stepping up in ways I haven’t seen before. The only downside is the slow acceleration, but the spacious interior, sunroof, and trunk make up for it. The technology is impressive too! You’ll love the new 12” screen—it’s responsive and looks great. I can’t speak for the other trims, but the GT-Line is definitely a solid choice!
