This car has all the additions you would expect in a car that is special ordered costing way more. The quality is exceptional! It drives and maneuvers like a much larger car. Great pickup speed and great gas mileage!

Just purchased 2023 Forte GT with G2 options, Great looking car with great looking Rims. Interior is awesome looking for a car at this price point. Car has excessive Road noise and has very stiff ride. Car has already developed an annoying squeak/rattle somewhere in center of dash and I’ve only had the car two days with less than 100k. Quite peppy engine. Great sounding exhaust. UPDATE: Car looks great in Black, lots of safety features for the money. Great acceleration with 201 HP Turbo. Great looking wheels. Awesome Harmon Kardon sound system. Only drawbacks: car has very stiff unforgiving suspension. Takes bumps like you are driving on wooden wheels. No power folding mirrors, only drivers side auto window. Hydraulic hood prop would be better than prop rod, hood is very heavy.

MY 8th KIA- 2nd Forte GT

This is my second Forte GT (2020 and 2023), I love this car. I came out of a C300 Mercedes prior to purchasing my 2020 Forte GT. My own personal experience with the C300 It was extremely problematic. Major issues with a car that had less than 30k miles. My new Forte GT with the dual clutch transmission is a hoot to drive. Plus I love the exhaust note. Before my purchase of the 23 Forte I checked out VW Jetta, Honda Civics and the Toyota Corolla. All of which are great cars. But for the value, warranty and added features you can't beat the Forte GT. The Forte GT also has more than 50 HP over the CIvic and 20HP over the Corolla. For the price of a Forte GT ($28000 with the automatic), your about $3K to $4K less than Toyota and Honda. Styling is subjective, but I do like the red highlights and LED lighting on the exterior. The Trunk is very roomy and the car seats 4 adults comfortable. I do a lot of driving, and find the drivers seating position very comfortable. The heated and vented front seats are a great feature to have. I also like the charging pad built into the console. The new infotainment screen is much larger on my 23 compared to the 2020. I wasn't a big fan of apple carplay. But it has grown on me and works well on the Forte. I just wish it was designed that it didn't need a cable attached to your phone and car for it to work. My Pros are the following: Styling, Sport mode, exhaust note ( most people think you have a aftermarket exhaust kit), Dual clutch transmission, 200 HP w/turbo, Harmon Kardon 8 Spker stereo, Runs on Regular gas, Great gas mileage-37 mpg, 10 yr warranty engine and drivetrain, 5 yr bumper to bumper, Price- depending on what GT model your looking at, there is nothing on the market that compares to it at that price point ( $25-$28K), Numerous safety features-lane assist, traffic alert, rear camera, fog lights Dislikes: I have almost 8000 miles on my Forte, and really have no real dislikes. If I were to come up with something it would be there are some blind spots when looking over to change lanes. The smaller rear accent window and the way the roof line is designed can make it difficult to see traffic on either side of you. But that is a stretch. All in all, I'm a fan of KIA products, this being my 8th one. I think KIA makes a solid car. Sure, not all my 8 KIA were problem free. But most of my issues were covered under warranty. The KIA Forte GT is a great sport sedan packed with a lot of cool features that you won't find in a Civic or Corolla.

The GT is one Feisty Forte!

Bought my 23 Forte GT 6 speed manual back in July 2022 and it’s a really impressive vehicle for the money. Paid 27k brand new and the amount of bells, whistles and safety features you get is almost overwhelming tbh. Not to mention it turns heads and changing the car into sport mode really makes it pull hard with very little turbo lag. Everytime it pushes me into the seat brings a smile to my face. The steering also feels heavier, the suspension gets firmer and the exhaust has more growl to it. It feels nicely planted taking corners. The sound system is also pretty sick. Yeah The Forte GT definitely feels like a much more expensive car than it actually is. A steal of a deal to say the least especially when you look at its direct rivals that are easily 5-8 grand more such as the Civic Si, VW GLi. Hats off to Kia. They been killing it! Don’t sleep on them if you’re in the market.
