Don't Let the Nameplate Stop You
After getting past the nameplate on the car, I am glad that I purchased this vehicle. I have put over 20,000 miles on the car in a little over 8 months. The performance has exceeded all expectations, and I believe now, more than ever, that this vehicle is by far the best value in its class. Kia has hit a home run with the Amanti.
Kia Amanti a Great Car
We had purchased a 2003 Kia van, enjoyed it and watched the reviews on the coming Amanti. We drove it, liked it and bought it. We have enjoyed the car. People stop use on a regular basis to ask what it is. It handles very well. No mechanical problems. The ride is great both in front and rear seats. It has nice features, phone plug ins in back and front. Heated seats, temperature control for passengers. Great car!

Ted's Opinion
My experience with this car has been 4.0. It could have a little additional power. And I can't understand why they didn't install the automatic rear view mirror. It would also be nice to have something similar to the GM program that gives driving instructions on trips.
Oh Yea
This vehicle was more then I expected for this price. The ride is great. The exterior is a eye catcher. When I step on the gas the car moves with ease without the neck jerking effect. The V- 6 has more then enough get up and go. It makes one think that there is a V-8 under the hood. I could not believe it was a KIA; great job. I would buy another.
I love my Kia
I've only owned my Kia for a few weeks, and don't have a lot of miles on it yet but I thoroughly love it. It looks as good as a car costing $35,000.00 or more, and drives like you would expect a very expensive car to drive. It has all the bells and whistles and I see heads turn as I drive down the road, and I know it's not me they're looking at (I'm 72!).
