Used 2005 Kia Amanti Consumer Reviews
My new Kia
Great power for a car that price and hosepower. 1st gear power is great. Exterior design is ok. Interior is great. Seats are wonderful with a lot of space. The heated seats burn my buns. It's sooo slient I don't even know the car is running when it is. A little too bouncy though. More than a Towncar I think! So can't make those fast turns without feeling like you're about to roll over. Would not spend $30,000 for a new one but this would be a great buy to get a one year old one. I've seen some for $15,000 for an '04 with 8,000 miles.
Classy Chassis
It's a shame that American car manufacturers just don't get the idea of quality and comfort. Hats off to Kia for the Amanti--what a beautiful car. Plenty of power, lap of luxury and a pretty cool style! I have driven many American luxury cars- Caddy,Regis,Buick Ford-- but this one is the nicest. Smooth--silent---stable. Everything that a true luxury car should be---without the price gouging.

I love My Amanti
This car is fantastic. I love everything about it. I only have two complaints about the car. The fuel mileage is not as advertised -- I get about 15.7 miles to the gallon in city driving. The other complaint is the horn -- far too soft and sounds like it belongs in a economy tuna can car. I've owned the car for 13 months now and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I have not had to go back to the dealer for anything other than oil changes. The car was sold to me perfect! It is a great car to own and drive and I just can't say enough good things about it.
Amanti
I've been driving Kia cars since 1994 when I bought a Ford Aspire, built by Kia. Then a '97 Sephia which has given and still gives excellent service, but now requires a muffler and timing belt replacement. Also have a 2002 Rio which is 3 years old and has given perfect service with NO problems. Have also used extensively a 2002 Optima which is a wonderful car. The Amanti should be just as good with a lot more luxury.
Don't Let the Nameplate Stop You
After getting past the nameplate on the car, I am glad that I purchased this vehicle. I have put over 20,000 miles on the car in a little over 8 months. The performance has exceeded all expectations, and I believe now, more than ever, that this vehicle is by far the best value in its class. Kia has hit a home run with the Amanti.
