What a Cat!!!!!
My previous car was Jaguar 2007 XK convertible, which I thought could not really be improved on. Well, I was wrong! Kudos to Tata for making Jag even better and luxurious; Ford has made a big mistake selling it! When I first turned on the engine of my new Salsa Red XKR with charcoal interior, I was blown away by the sound! Few minutes later I was blown away by the engine power. This is the most amazing car! It grabs attention everywhere. It is gorgeous, fast, slick. Interior is to die for! Dealership was fantastic!
2010 XKR CONV.
Purchased both the XKR and XF sedan. The XKR conv. is fantastic. No complaints. Fast and furious when needed! Interior and body quality excellent. I think they are great cars. Jaguar has come a long way!!

Amazing car for the money
This is the perfect car for me. Incredibly sexy looks, excellent performance (when desired), smooth ride and great gas mileage (considering power), and exclusiveness that you can't get with a Corvette, 911, Shelby etc. I get positive comments on a daily basis which, let's face it, makes you feel good about your car.
One Angry Cat
I bought the 2010 Jag XKR after close comparison shopping with M3,M6, and 911s. The Jags looks trumped the others but I wasn't sure about the chassis and performance of the new 5.0 engine.Well I absolutely love this car! I have owned many sports cars but this car is a stunner. Performance is spectacular, torque is outstanding, and I have averaged 19 mpg on the first 1,800 miles. The sound system is incredible and the Bowers & Wilkins speakers are as good as it gets. Truly a world class touring car. A car that can be pussy cat to drive or a "scalded cat" on demand.
Short Term Review
Performance: With 510hp & peak torque at 2500rpm with the CATS system disabled, it is hard to keep the back wheels from spinning while the rear end kicks out. Anymore power would be a waste. Interior is all stitched leather, suede and wood. It reminds me of a Ferarri inside. Not many bells and whistles and NO VOICE ACTIVATION!! This car is all about performance, which is why it is surprising that they did not use racing pedals and steering wheel. The auto door lock does not work, which is why I gave it a 6 for reliability. The engine is covered with plastic - very cheezy! The back seats are for CD's. This car is fun to drive and fun to look at. It is a rocket on rails, Jag should be proud!
