Used 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE Consumer Reviews
Jag Awesome
I would highly recommend this car to anyone who wants a luxury sports car. We love to drive it and always have fun. Cons<>You cannot add CarPlay unless you live in Great Britain. The Brits have been converting Jaguar infotainment systems to allow CarPlay for years. Why is the USA so far behind in this area?

Luv my F-type!
Bought a lo-mileage 2016 F-type convertible (base model) 3.5 years ago. Love the car! Plenty of acceleration for me. Great looks, of course. Only been in the shop once for repairs, under warranty. Factory battery just died, at 6.5 years old! No complaints!

FOOL ME ONCE...
I was warned. But I didn't want to believe it. She was stunning! Beautiful in all her glory. Italian racing red with ivory leather interior. Nine years old but only 30k miles. So I made the deal & drove her off the lot. On the way home from the dealer the traction control light came on & that was just the tip of the iceberg of what was to come. Within 6 weeks she was in the shop for fault codes flashing across the dashboard: ABS fault, emergency brake assist not available, stability control not available, power steering assistance reduced, etc. She was brought in to a local Jag specialist & they found a small metal shard in the wheel. A week later same thing, this time hooked up to the computer it told them it was the alternator. Repaired that for $1200. Two weeks later, same faults flashing on the dashboard. The Jag specialist couldn't figure it out so told us to take it to the dealership. At the dealership they tell us the computer needs 5 updates but that still doesn't correct it. After another 4 weeks of troubleshooting they determine it's the body control module. My husband asks "will this correct it finally?" He's told "yes." After being in the shop at the Jag dealer for 6 weeks we are told it is finally ready. Brought it home, delighted it was finally fixed & back in my garage. I drive her to work the whole following week. It's finally Friday & I jump in & start her ready to head home & enjoy the weekend. And what do you know? The same codes AGAIN!!! It's the gift that keeps on giving 🤬 I've had the car for just over 5 months & it's been in the shop for the majority of the time. I can't wait to sell her & have this nightmare be over! I will NEVER own another Jag again!
