Used 2020 INFINITI QX60 Consumer Reviews
Solid Big Car Feel
This car is whisper quiet, plush on the inside and has a big car feel. Steering feedback is excellent, handling isn’t nimble but is good. Controls are functional (including the navigation), and easy to use.Very comfortable and suited for expressway driving. Roomy, open feeling and carries more cargo than many competitors.

Brake issues and transmission problems
I don’t know if I’m the only one with what I feel is premature brake wear. I bought a 2019 QX60 pure and at around 24000 km was told the rear breaks needed to be replaced at 43000 I have to replace all four rotors and pads front and back. Most of my driving is highway so not using brakes a lot and feel that they should have lasted a lot longer. Also just recently at just over 43000kms the transmission cooler and lines started to leak and had to be replaced. Vehicle in the shop for a week waiting for parts did provide me with a loaner but really not impressed if it hadn’t been noticed by fluid leak in my driveway it may have meant the whole transmission may have went. Fortunately it was still under warranty, not sure if I would buy again

OIL SLUDGE
Purchase a new Infiniti QX60 with a full warranty. Did maintenance at Infiniti dealership except when oil and filter change was done at an alternate mechanic shop due to booking unavailability at Dealership due to Covid. The alternate mechanic shop did replace oil with synthetic oil and changed the filter. In June 2020 attended the Dealership again, but the appointment was not in 5 days later, so I went to the same alternate mechanic shop and did oil and filter change again. In Nov 2020, I observed noise from the engine and took it to the Infiniti dealership who said the engine had oil sludge. The Dealership said I would have to pay for the diagnostic if they opened the machine and found out that the warranty did not cover the issue. I have the two receipts for the oil and filter change I did at the alternate mechanic shop. The Infiniti Dealership advised that they found oil sludge in the engine, and this has been attributed to poor maintenance. I asked for an explanation, and the Service Manager could not give me a nexus between my diligent care and the oil sludge. The Service manager told me to return the loaner, pick up the QX60 and pay the amount for diagnostic. I contacted the Customer affairs Dept, and this guy said he gives deference to the warranty dept and the Service manager and there is nothing he can do about it. This is a breach of a warranty claim, and I have no other choice except to pursue this judicially.
Infiniti removed “avoid highways” in navigation
This feature might seem insignificant to people who don’t mind highways, but for many, this is a very important feature that ALL navigation software has. Prior to 2018, the Infiniti navigation had it. Why would a car company REMOVE a feature? Poor choice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I’ve had my car since November 2019 and have spent at least 6-8 weeks in repair shops. First month car began violently shaking and vibrating with loud noises, drivetrain needed to be replaced. Followed up leaking transfer case which after 4 times of getting sealed was finally replaced. Brakes and roof rack also replaced.
