Three days ago my 2011 Veracruz with 27K miles just quit while on the road. It had a total electronic chassis failure. First the ECM warning light and then all the warning light and then car came to a stop. Towed to dealer, the next day I was told it was a loose battery cable(??), strange since no one had touched it. Drove it out next day before I got into the freeway, same thing, car quit, same warnings. Towed to dealer. They said they had 3 code and it has a throttle position sensor, after they changed it they called and said that was not it. Need to keep the car and see what it is. Three days without a car, dealer has offered to rent one though. Car is totally unreliable to take out.

while the 3rd row is not great for big guys (i'm 6'2", 225lbs, size 14 shoe) most of the time kids and smaller adults are fine and have no complaints, that being said, the trim package the luxury look and feel is better than most SUV's costing $10-20k more. only had one visit to the repair center and it was covered under a recall alert sent to me (leaky gasket), only complaint are that the Vera Cruz was discontinued and I didn't get the navigation package...

Seems to run forever! Wish they still made it!

My wife bought a 2007 model with a 140,000 miles in 2016. Didn't want to spend a fortune at the time and came across this one for $7000. This vehicle now has 260,000 miles and it acts like it will run forever. We haven't spent a dime on it with exception to general maintenance. The body is still in perfect condition except for a few dings. This says alot considering the salt used here in the upper midwest. The drivetrain and steering is just as tight as when we bought it. We are looking to see if we can find another used one due to the fact that this on has been so dependable. I don't know if I'll ever own another vehicle in my lifetime that is as solid as this one. As an FYI we had a 2002 KIA (same corporation) Sedona prior to this that had over 250,000 miles before it began to have issues. This company has is together!

Diamond in the Rough!

What can I say.... test drove, BMW, Benz, Accura, Lexus, Infinity, Ford, GM, Subaru and for the $ no one even comes close! Social mask aside (yeah it's not an over priced vanity product) but this vehicle is a gem! Wonderful fit and finish, exceptional torque to gear ratio and this lady will move when you need her to with her 260 H.P. and 6 speed manumatic tranny. Hyundai (I also own a 2009 Santa Fe AWD Limited)is quickly getting the attention it deserves. Toyota's recent and ongoing quality control issues will further compliment and fuel Hyundai's ability to take on an increased market share. BTW... Best warranty in the business! They truly back what they build! Love the Brand!

Bought this used recently to replace BMW X5 V8.... totally different animal.... bought it to haul people for church functions ... complaints so far are the stereo was weak and no bluetooth so I replaced it... Steering wheel is peeling???? Has backup beepers and most options sans the stereo... The tires are original at 45,000 with 10,000 left it seems...expensive 18's... Interior is very nice and comfortable...leather ... the materials seem quality... so far good car... UPDATE : Now have had the car for 9 mo. Covered the steering wheel and the new stereo is awesome ... put just over 5000 miles and just got home from a 8 hr round trip rode great and got 23 mpg on the highway ,four of us and luggage quite comfortable, it will seat seven but then no luggage room. The rear climate control system is fantastic for the passengers, I am going to add a back up camera and a hitch that bolts on with 4 bolts and the wiring is plug and go. the car is 5 years old and people think it is new. Update 7/2018 Great car uses no oil ...did fix a sticking caliper.
