Used 2006 Hyundai Tucson Consumer Reviews
Surprising Quality & Value !
Only driven 500 miles, but very impressed by the ride, abundance of amenities & overall performance -- it looks & feels larger than a compact SUV & the great warranty is an added bonus. The silver ext. with dark grey leather is very attractive & easy to keep clean. Toyota & Honda better stay on their toes cuz Hyundai is on the way up & has great financial resources to compete with them. Way to go Hyundai!!
Probably not
Bought the GLS 6 cyl new from dealer. Very reliable for the first three years I owned it. Good driver's visibility. Not exciting to drive, and not very fuel efficient (for 3500 lbs). Puny V6 engine. Useless rear trunk cover. Tire pressure light too sensitive. Ride was a little smoother carrying a full load vs. traveling light.

Gets Better Every Year
This is my third purchase. The Tucson has more power than the Santa Fe, better handling and exterior styling. The options can't be beat. One drawback though is low fuel economy.
All-Around Affordable Quality
My wife and I purchased a 2006 Hyundai Tucson Limited and we love it. The car is by far the most quality small SUV for the price on the market. We are both commuters who travel frequently and in a variety of weather conditions. The Tucson has performed phenomenally in snow, on mountain highways, and it is fun to drive from interstates to small country roads. The price, all of the features, the performance, the look, the warranty, and the comfort of the limited make it the best vehicle we have ever had. It has the look and the feel of a Lexus, with the best warranty around and every where we go people comment on how great it looks. This is an outstanding SUV - you will love it!
Hyundai just earned a loyal customer
I never thought I'd own a Hyundai but after driving it, pricing it out at $7,000 LESS than a similarly-equipped 06 Toyota RAV-4 Limited V6, and examining the unbelievable warranty (100,000 miles on the powertrain), I was sold. I got a great deal, too, under invoice. Unless you're worried about overpaying for a nameplate to impress your neighbors, this is a no- brainer if you want a small SUV.
