Love it but....
I purchased my 2011 Sonata in Jan. It is a comfortable car, great trunk space, runs well and looks great but...... after two months in my possession I noticed a small area on the trunk that is rusting. The area is very small on the passenger side of the trunk door above the brake light. On the driver side same thing but no rust just missing paint. I took it to dealership for repair (covered under warranty)and they gave me a 2011 Sonata loaner which I checked, of course, for the same problem and YES it did have issue. Before purchasing you may want to check for this manufacturers defect. Otherwise, love my car.
1 year now
I have had my 2011 GLS for a year and 16k miles. Overall I really like this car. I am 6'3'' and have painful back issues. This car has the best support and the least back pain problems of any car I have ever driven on a long trip. We recently averaged 32 MPG driving the interstate at 80 mph. I cannot drive at 65 -70, but I am sure it would hit the 35 as advertised. City milage is not so good, but I come close to the 22mpg as stated. This car is roomy, I love the styling, it had a low base price and the dealer had a $1000 rebate, what's not to love. This is a great highway car. I wanted the Limited, but the sunroof really compromised the headroom as I am tall.

Great Car
I did a lot of research before I committed to buying the 2011 Sonata. I had a 2004 Camry which was the best car. I test drove the 2011 Camry, and the Acura TSX; but after seeing the 2011 Sonata at the Auto Show, I just had to drive it also. I was unbelievably impressed with the Sonata Limited! It has all of the bells and whistles that the TSX and the Camry XLE have for thousands less. The 4 cyl engine is direct injection and is just as responsive as the TSX and the 6 cyl Camry. It puts out 200 hp, yet gets GREAT gas mileage. I recommend getting the nav system as it is the only available option for the Limited. It handles like a dream!
What is missing
Okay, I love the looks, the power, the economy. The car rides smooth and quiet. I love the bluetooth radio I make my calls through the bluetooth it works fantastic "call friend, mobile, yes" thats all there is to it. I sound better through my car than my phone. My 32gb thumbdrive works, holds and plays music on the radio, who needs CDs anymore. I have learned to like the footbrake. And I like what is missing, no transmission dipstick, and no timing belt. This should add up to less maintenance. Oh did I mention 87 octane? My friends love the look of the car I opted for the plain wheels, I think at first glance the hubcaps look better than many wheels from other manufactures.
BEST AT ANY PRICE
