Overall a great vehicle, all the utility that I expected and some more. Rides well, pulls strong. I average about 26 mpg. Infotainment system is pretty good, easy to use, no lag. If you want leather interior, you have to opt for limited. Smallish sunroof. No storage for sunglasses.

Love the look and it gets great mileage! Highway driving is very comfortable and although it would be nice to have more power, it has plenty for normal use.

Looks nice but has severe engine issues

At 5000 miles my Santa Cruz developed engine issues, specifically, entering a highway it simply did not accelerate (reached 50mph maximum). Pulled over, called roadside assistance. There were no codes or warnings, dealer reprogrammed transmission. At 7500 miles engine misfire codes started. Dealer replaced a spark plug, problem returned 2000 miles later. Diagnosis - leaking injectors, parts ordered 8/15/2023. It is now early October, car is still at dealer waiting for parts, expected parts ETA is late November. Have been unable to use the car for close to 2 months. Absolutely no support from Hyundai corporate. My first and last Hyundai. I can not use it, I can not sell it, I can not trade it.

I bought this truck a year ago when my Ford maverick was on a one-year wait. I really like the truck I think if I had it to you over again, the only thing I would do is not buy the factory bed cover. It takes up too much space at the front of the bed overall extremely happy with his truck extremely comfortable to drive.

Found a vehicle that wasn’t a car but wasn’t a truck and just what I wanted! Friendly dealership, fair price with great warranty, decent gas mileage, can fit passengers and haul the things I need to!! Granted it’s not a cushy ride like a high end SUV but smooth and solid, just what I was looking for! I knew when I got in it for the test drive, I knew it was the one I wanted! The customer service and dealership incentives are a great bonus and incentive to buy local! So happy with my new Hyundai Santa Cruz!!
