Hyundai is despicable

Persistent engine issues - I've had to replace an engine coil every year I've had this car. Product Recall - Front door handle would lock and you'd have to reach across from the other site to get into your car Peeling and chipping white paint CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE - They offered an extended warranty for the peeling paint which I immediately reached out to my dealership (Young Hyundai, Ogden UT). The dealership turned me away and said my warranty was out of scope even though I was just notified about the change. Hyundai Corporate has been unresponsive and useless. I get automated replies and no follow up. Truly a terrible experience which has left a bad taste in my mouth. They have lost a customer for life.

Not as good as it used to be

I recently rented this car on a drive from Seattle to Reno when the airline stranded me. I generally have loved Hyundai's and my daily driver is a 2013 Hyundai Accent that I love. I was disappointed in this car for two major reasons. #1 the road noise was unbearable and I couldn't even hear the radio over the amount of road noise. #2 was the night time visibility, the dash is not dim-able and was way too bright making it very difficult to see at night. Gas mileage and every other aspect of the cars was great, but these two were a deal breaker for me and I took it back to the rental agency and exchanged it for another vehicle the next day.

Just drove the car out of the dealer 7 miles down the road the car over heated. The car is brand new 0 miles before I drove it out the dealer I check all fluids and light condition everything check ok. Car is too noisy, you can hear everything inside. 2006 had better noise cancellation than this car. The sit is not really comfortable to a big person. Other than that features are pretty nice for the price the car is worth.

Love it but for the media console crashed and died

On cue, warranty over, multimedia console kept draining the battery. Pros couldn't figure it out. I did by monitoring every fuse to figure out the drain. Warranty as a used car expired. 2017 SE. Now I'm stuck with half a car that I'll never be able to sell. Do NOT buy this car unless you have $ to throw off the roof and are an automotive masochist. POS

2017 Hyundai Elantra too much too little

1. The raised center console gets in the way when shifting, and when just driving. 2. I don't want keyless doors and trunk, and there is no option for "manual". 3. The electronic odometer/etc. is too cluttered and mult-purpose. give me one spot for each function and minimize "cute" inscrutable" symbols. 4. Tire pressure sensors are great, but tell me the actual pressures when I "ask" to see them. 5. Ditto with engine coolant temp. give me the number in Farenheit. (You could add an oil temp output too.)
