Used 2017 Hyundai Elantra Consumer Reviews
High five to Hyundai - I love my Elantra!
Love my Elantra (value edition)! Classy yet sporty look, smooth sailing when driving on the highway yet the steering is tight enough to handle the unexpected when it comes your way. I would definitely recommend this car. Sport mode gives a punch of speed at a moments notice if needed - so handy on steep mountin roads when other cars tend to crawl! The seating is adjustable in many ways to ease the pain of long cross country trips that last for hours. The darker gray exterior color stays fresh looking even during high-pollen season. Plenty of room in the trunk - split fold-down back seat is handy for long items yet allows for back seat passenger. Touch screen technology at dash area is easy to use and not very distracting. Back up camera and side alert make for a huge bonus in safety. Sun/moon roof is great for cross ventilation without wind blowing my hair in my face! I had my doubts about the stereo system though... I happen to love my CDs and want to slide one in whenever I want. But there is no CD player!!! Yes, there are plenty of other options like blue tooth, USB port for plug in and pandora/satellite radio service etc. But I wanted my own music that I knew and loved at a touch of a button. However, i got a huge surprise when I found out that I could put my cds on a memory stick and load them into the memory of my Elantra through my USB port. A new "music" icon pops up and I can add play lists or entire cds by album right into my car memory and don't have to keep the stick plugged in. I believe it holds close to 100 songs. YAY! CD problem solved! Awesome feature and a high five to Hyundai for including it. Yeah, I love my 2017 Elantra - all 33,000 + miles so far!

Bought this car and they erred in pricing, =)
The Hyundai dealership realized there error and sold it to me for the lower price anyway. It's a great car and we absolutely love it. I got 40.4 MPG on the way home at 5MPH under the speed limit. The only thing I don't like is that the android auto app requires a USB connect and doesn't work over blutooth. (The kids blew out my HDMI ports by hot swapping cables on the 72" TV so I worry about these things now.)

Dollar for dollar, no other cars can compare
It's very simple, any car that has a 100,000 mile and/or 10 year warranty, is not building junk. They have the customers interest at hand.

HATE THIS CAR
I have now had the car for over six years. I am extremely disappointed with the car. I have had to bring the car in for service for various electrical problems. It is very annoying and time consuming. My last car was a Toyota Corolla that I had for 26 years. I never had to bring the car in for service except for normal maintenance. I am also extremely disappointed with the gas mileage. When I first got the car, the mileage was great. The mileage has gotten worse since I have had the car. The Elantra is NOT for long distance driving. This car is strictly for neighborhood driving. The pick-up is lousy. I am going to sell my car and definitely go back to Toyota.

SE poor acceleration
Rented for 3 weeks in Florida. While making left turns before oncoming traffic, this car seemed to stall while trying to quickly accelerate... scary! barely avoided a few accidents! This occurred even in sport mode. Don't know if it was just this particular car or problem has occurred with other similar 2017 elantras? Recall on this issue?
