Used 2017 Honda Ridgeline Consumer Reviews
Very Refined Vehicle
I’ve owned my 2017 RTL-T for three months now and am totally satisfied. My previous truck was a 2005 Tundra, which was more robust, but much less comfortable to drive. The interior and ride quality of the of the Ridgeline is first rate. My only criticism is that the low beams on this vehicle are weak. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Ridgeline Affair
I love this truck! This review covers a 2017 and 2018 Honda Ridgeline. I had the 2017 for 8 weeks before it was totaled when I hit a full size horse at 0530 in the morning. After escaping it's fenced pasture, it was running directly at me and in the dark I didn't see it until it was 20' from me. The horse died and the truck was totaled but I was not hurt. Had seat belt on and airbags did not go off since horse was above bumper area and crushed hood, windshield and roof. A month later I purchased my new, identical 2018 Ridgeline. It drives real smooth, even my wife likes the ride, with good acceleration and so far, 23 mpg. Only have 1500 miles on this one. Love the in-bed trunk and 2-way tailgate. No complaints so far. Was able to negotiate $3600 below MSRP. Update: now have 12000 miles and still love this truck. Mileage about 21.5 mpg. Pulled closed trailer 200 miles and no issues. We had plenty of snow this year and the truck handled great. Only issue I’ve had is some air leakage on the driver door which adds to interior noise. I will ask dealer to fix at my next oil change. Wife still likes he truck and even enjoys driving it when she gets a chance. Ok, check it out if looking for a good midsize truck👍 Now at 37000 miles and still love this truck. Added bed cover which improved mpg to 22. No complaints👍😩

Prepare to fall in love it. Incredible comfort
The control handles for headlights and wipers do not glow in the dark. Location may at first hard to see & find. Once you get use to it no problem. The engine is a little noisy at first thats because of injectors cutting on & off. Honda made a good product with this truck. Get the AWD makes a big difference on road control.

Surprise
I was interested in seeing this vehicle but was intent on buying another SUV. I was not quite convinced about the outward appearance- it looks a little homely. But once you get behind the wheel it really shines. Very comfortable, plenty of power and all the technology I really need. I need a truck every now and then. They can be very convenient but my main driving could be handled by any car. This vehicle drives like a car but has the ability to be a light truck. Perfect for me. I have read about the cumbersome technology package but I have had no problem. The nav system is much better than my previous 2006 Nissan murano. Links easily to my Iphone. I like Apple Car play. I have had it now for 2 months and the looks is growing on me. Not a single mechanical problem.

Love the Ridgeline
My spouse has a new Pilot so this is very similar. Love that car. It is exactly what I wanted. Trunk space is a real plus. It works very well for us.
