Used 2017 Honda Ridgeline Consumer Reviews
Great vehicle with just one question
I've had my 17 Ridgeline for about a month and have been very pleased with everything about it. I was initially leaning towards a Tacoma, but after comparing the two vehicles for what my needs were - daily commuter, ability to move some furniture for my college aged daughter, take the snowblower in for service, transport my bike - it seemed like a better overall vehicle. The ONLY "head scratcher" to me is the inability to lock the tailgate...I just don't understand why that would be overlooked by Honda. Updated 10/12/2017: After nearly 7 months and 15,000 miles. I still enjoy driving the Ridgeline. It's extremely comfortable and averages nearly 26mpg on highway travel. There are a couple of "nits" that I've added to the non-locking tailgate. First, the audio system is EXTREMELY slow to load; randomly drops Apple Carplay; if you put your right directional on, it activates the sideview camera which is a great feature, UNLESS you're in the middle of using any of the handsfree voice features - it simply overrides it and cuts you off. I also wish they would have made the sliding window in the rear window a standard feature, along with roof rails.

2017 Honda Ridgeline
This is my 3rd Ridgeline...1st of the new model. Most comfortable, quietest, easy driving truck I have ever owned. Great for around town, fishing trips and long rides. It handles snow and easy off roading. However, this is not a hard-core off road vehicle.

Go git one!
Fantastic vehicle. Unless you're a very heavy hauler, this puppy is the way to go. Exit/entry clearances are too tight, and the initial brakes bite could be sharper but everything else is superb. I mean amazing.

Cold Ridgeline
The Honda engineers should move to a Minnesota winter climate to re-engineer the interior heating system. At a stoplight when it's below zero, the duct air temperature drops to cool air from warm air. Accelerating restores the heated warm air. The dash temperature gauge shows slightly lower than middle. Took it into a local Honda dealer to find after diagnosis that the thermostat is functioning properly and the coolant level is correct. Bottom line is there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. Told this is the norm with the aluminum block v6. I still cannot believe I was told this. As stated earlier, the engineers should leave the tropics and try Minnesota in the winter to readjust their thinking.

Very Refined Vehicle
I’ve owned my 2017 RTL-T for three months now and am totally satisfied. My previous truck was a 2005 Tundra, which was more robust, but much less comfortable to drive. The interior and ride quality of the of the Ridgeline is first rate. My only criticism is that the low beams on this vehicle are weak. Otherwise, it’s perfect.
