Very little power and not enough joy in driving the vehicle, way too much money for the fit and finish of it when you really look at it up close.

I Love the Pilot, yet got a major lemon.

I truly Love driving the Pilot. However, it's been back to the Dealership at least 8-10 times, for numerous problems. Seven times for the same problem. I worked for Honda as the Finance Director for 15 years, and brought in hundreds of Customers.I'm in the process of going directly to the top of Honda for help. The problems I have had,are unbelievable. I've owned 5 Honda's and Love them, my commuter has 162,000 miles, and I Love the Pilot. However, I will NOT KEEP THIS CAR. Things happen, and WOW, I have had too many problems to write about. They say they can't duplicate the problem? I have 2 major problems, and, I've had 7- 8 others, they fixed. However, the 2 Major PROBLEMS THEY CAN'T?

Disappointing Pilot

The controls for the 2007 Pilot are not very well designed. It is all too easy to turn the lights on (or off) when using the turn signal. On the other side of the steering wheel the wiper control lever is easily bumped when using the gear shift lever. Highway gas mileage averages around 20 mpg, not the stated 2 4mpg. Be prepared for a bit of price shock when it's time to replace the cabin air filter. The filter can only be removed by dropping the glove box and then removing 6 screws. Changing the filter for the first time requires cutting away a plastic bar. The cost to have the dealer replace the cabin air filter is upwards of $130 for parts and labor. I would not buy another Honda Pilot.

I got 13/17. vs honda advertised 17/22. For most cars have driven, the actual is fallen with specs, but not for this Pilot. I think there should be a class action against the false advertising. Also, it is not shame, it is a crime to do that.

We are Honda family and the Pilot is my 4th. I purchased it for towing my 3500 lbs boat and it does a great job. The height and width of the vehicle is great larger than I expected. If I can keep it on "ECO" it will do fine.
