Apple CarPlay not working
I’ve had my HRV for about a week and half now.. my Apple CarPlay works with everything except my text.. I had it in the dealership this morning and they said it’s a glitch between Honda and Apple and was told to use a usb c cable instead of the wireless connection… it sucks that I’m still stuck using a cable for something that was supposed to be wireless..

Honda Ignored Me, But They Did Make Improvements
I just traded in my 2013 Honda CRV and wife's 2018 HRV on a new 2025 HRV Sport. My previous complaints were of them lying about their auto radio specs. 40 Watts did not become 160 Watts! Also that the AM did not sound very good. So much so that I ripped it out and put in a10 year Blaupunkt. I was Blaupunkt's US road test man for 15 years and was their expert on such matters. I gave the go aheads to release them. The 2025 HRV is a tad smaller than my former 2013 CRV, yet bit larger than my wife's former 2018 HRV. It is comfortable to sit in and drive. Visibility is good all around, the rear view camera is great. Bingo, the radio. The tumor on the dash board can be difficult to read in sunlight. They put tweeters in the side window pillars. That's great! AM sound is much improved and the FM quite good. If in an accident, I wonder what that on dashboard, hatchet-looking thing would do to me. Sometimes you might not easily see the dimly illuminated presets, and you might finger and wiggle them a few times to get the station to change. You'd better get used to the other preset buttons on the steering wheel. They work. I miss the CD. How about making steering wheel an accessory? Speaking of the controls, the cruiser control has twice as many things to manipulate than did the older cars. I often swear at the GD things I have to fiddle with They just love their menus, and multiple things to press. The older vehicles were much more intuitive and did not often distract you from driving to simply zero the trip odometers or maintain speeds. I'd rather drive an automobile than manipulate a computer! More to come. So far 400 miles. Most things operate well. The vehicle seems to have lower mileage than the 2013 CRV, but that is a first impression. Hint: on the 1st week, the 12 year got 33+ mpg on the Chicagoland toll roads. The 2025, got 23.5. Maybe too much traffic.
