I’ve had my 2025 CRV Hybrid Sport-L for a few months and about 1,500 miles. Average MPG is 42.1 with 30% highway driving. We love the leather seats, moonroof, comfortable interior, and how it drives flawlessly. I’m impressed with how many feature are included at this price. I’ve driven Luxus’ and Acura’s of family members and see no difference in quality or comfort. I highly recommend this vehicle and have no complaints.

Improving, almost there... Updated 8/14/25

Update after 1 year of driving - Removed 1 star from original review. Had 2 recalls since purchase. Front seats are terribly uncomfortable. The side bolsters are very high and hard as a rock while the seat bottom is very low creating a "hole". They are also very narrow so anyone with a normal sized or wide bottom will be very uncomfortable. Much worse in cold weather as seats are even harder. Suspension has various squeaks (and rubbing sounds) while driving. Dealership says that's "normal". IDK at 42k am I asking to much for a more comfort and a little less noise? Original review - This is my 2nd consecutive CR-V. Coming out of a 2022 EX-L. Love the hybrid powertrain . Went for the sport touring over the sport-L as it's only $1500 more one you add AWD to the sport-L (standard AWD in sport touring). Getting 38.2 mpg in mixed driving. Plenty of space for a small SUV Other things I like are updated carplay and android auto (both wireless) as well as lane keep assist/ traffic jam assist systems and Bose audio system (I always disconnect the anc module in Hondas, they are pointless in my opinion). Very quiet and smooth ride. I opted for the grey interior which is 2 tone and glad I did. Looks very sharp. Things I don't like are the front seat shape (side bolsters very high and less comfortable then previous generation) as well an the removal of items making them dealer options that came standard even in the EX-L trim (rear cargo cover, homelink) but all manufacturers heading this route to save/make more money out of every sale. Overall I really like my CR-V even though it's a little on the pricey side. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better small SUV.

Love the ride, but some features . . . not so much

We have owned a 2014 CR-V since new, and love it. But pushing 200,000 mi, we wanted to check out the 2025 and compare it to the RAV4. Loved the CR-V ride, quiet and comfortable, with more visibility than the RAV4, and with plenty of pick-up for our needs. However, we found the technology wanting (e.g. no 360 view, smaller display, analogue speedometer) compared to the RAV4, and the storage behind the back seat significantly smaller than the CR-V we already own, and with less depth to the back seats than the RAV4, even though the RAV4 has less width and height at the door. Not a fan of the CR-V's not having a spare tire, either. Not decided yet, RAV4 ride not as nice. Tough call.

This is our third Honda CRV (2018, 2021, 2025). High quality construction, rides great. Just a solid vehicle. No other small SUV is put together this well. One big issue and one small issue. Very frustrated with my 2025 Sport-L entertainment system and Apple CarPlay. The gauge audio display setting (in front of the steering wheel) gets stuck and does not show what’s playing in CarPlay. C’mon Honda - there are 1.6 billion iPhone users in the world. Please figure this out. We had similar problems in our 2021 CRV. It works fine in our Nissan. This is not an iPhone issue. It’s a Honda issue. The other is just front cabin storage. Cup holders and bin space seems to be reduced. And the little tray in the arm rest was not included (I purchased that separately online). Again, C’mon Honda! The CRV would be the best SUV in the market if the recorded better and they included some low-cost basics.

I traded in my 2017 touring CR-V (which I loved) for the new 2025 hybrid sport touring CR-V. Super quiet, rides smoothly, great gas milage (41'ish mpg so far), seats more comfortable than my old Crv. Very happy with with the purchase. The only negative was the hybrid vehicle doesn't come with a spare tire. There is a repair kit ( spray into tire) to get you to a nearby tire store, so for long trips I'm going to buy ( around $400) a spare that can be tossed in the back when I take long road trips.. I've owned Hondas since 1986 and never had any issues with them.

I recently purchased the Honda CRV Hybrid, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This car is exceptionally comfortable, making every drive a pleasant experience. The ride is incredibly smooth, and the cabin is so well-insulated that there’s virtually no noise intrusion, allowing for a peaceful journey every time. The sound system is fantastic, delivering clear and immersive audio, which enhances the overall driving experience. The navigation system, paired with the entertainment system, is user-friendly and intuitive, and the touch panel is responsive and easy to operate. Every feature works seamlessly together, making it a joy to use. Overall, the Honda CRV Hybrid is an amazing purchase at a reasonable price, offering excellent value for the quality and features it provides. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and well-equipped vehicle.

2025 CR-V and it’s near death steering system

2025 Honda CR-V EX-L 4dr SUV AWD (1.5L 4cyl Turbo CVT)

Our 5-week old CR-V EX-L wanders dangerously at highway speeds — and crosses painted lane lines — even with the lane-control system engaged. Also, the smartphone-linked navigation system often drops the needed connection and, much worse, the screen goes blank when you leave internet connected areas, thus leaving you without information when it’s most needed. Another dangerous fault is the unsafe headlights that are verifiably inadequate when driving on dark roads in inclement weather. This is our sixth CR-V. Our previous models have been flawless. Obviously something at Honda has radically changed. These faults are obviously dangerous — the dealer has ignored us — so we plan to implement the Ohio Lemon law and, hopefully, get our money back.

2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport Touring

I have had my 2025 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport Touring for a few weeks and I love it. It is spacious and comfortable inside with a nice modern look. The car runs quietly and I get good gas mileage about 38-40 miles per gallon. Pros: Great-looking interior, comfort, super quiet, and excellent hybrid Cons: No spare tire

This 2025 Honda CRVEXL is similar to the 2024 model but has a more solid large suv feel. Easily fits 5 adults and has plenty of pep to its drive. Lots of safety features and has a 9 inch display. Great sounds with 3 mos. Free Sirius radio. Got a 3 yr. Lease and probably will purchase it to keep. Looking forward to the next ride…. So easy to get in and out of this well designed suv….rides like a mid size sedan, not like a compact. Thanks for listening, Hank

Quality feel with lots of MPG

My first hybrid. Love that the battery is NOT paired with a turbo. Who wants a turbo to turn on and off as needed? Doesn't match their characteristics. Like it is standard with blind spot warning, etc. Quiet ride. Good power. Excellent mpg (averaging 38 combined Hwy city). Compared to a RAV4 and it looks nicer, inside and out, feels more substantial and has more room. It was also hard to get a RAV4. Cons: Wish it had a spare tire. Cost more than the RAV4 and can't set without a moon roof.
