2026 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews

Much to like/wish for more
Why must I buy the top trim to get a heated steering wheel and an integrated navigation system? Also, no HomeLink to program a garage door opener! Adding these would make my rating a 5 star.

First time SUV and Honda owner
Roomy, quiet for a hybrid. Great handling. Fuel mileage 36 mpg. Easy in and out which is nice when riding on long distance trips for Seniors. Back seat door opens nice and wide which helps when loading an elderly loved one.

No contest, the best small SUV on the market
Being an old guy, I've had a lot of cars in my life including BMW's, Volvos and many other top brands. I've now had this new 2025 CR-V Hybrid about three months and absolutely love it. It has a surprising amount of room inside. I rented a Toyota Rav4 as well as the Mazda CX 5 and it was no contest. It is hard to imagine why anyone would buy these other cars once they drive the CR-V. The Rav4 felt cramped inside and I'm not a big guy. The Mazda didn't handle nearly as well as the CRV. I love this car, just about everything about it. Even the cargo space is ample. If you are considering any other small SUV, do yourself a favor and test drive the CR-V first

Fabulous SUV
Bought this car for my 17 year old daughter and with all the safety features, I feel extremely good knowing she’s in a safe vehicle. It’s a beautiful car with all the features anyone could possibly want. You can’t go wrong with a Honda!

Great vehicle. Better than my Lexus RX450h
So far, I've been very impressed with my new CR-V. Comparing it to the Lexus RX450h that I traded in, the sound system is better, it handles great, better backup camera, it seems to run more on the hybrid batteries, improving the gas mileage, many great features (auto lock, different drive modes, etc). Haven't figured out all of the bells and whistles yet.

Utterly disappointing
I am not getting the EPA rated MPGs, no matter how I drive. The car feels cheaply made, the materials are disappointing, seats horrible. The worst of all are the LED headlights. My 2016 with halogens has better visibility than these Honda LEDs. They are so weak, do not light up the road properly. If it is raining, then it looks like they are not even on. This is a safety hazard. Common Honda, fix this. Why can't you put in headlights like the ones on Acuras?I would not recommend this car. Thank God this is a lease and not purchase.

3rd New Honda purchase
This is my third Honda CRV. I haven't had any problems with the other two. I just wanted to upgrade and plan on keeping this one a longer time. The CRV is easy to drive, easy to park, quiet and has a perky turbo engine.

4th Honda CRV-EXL
Love my 2025!!! Simple controls, nice interior and iconic Honda Steering and breaking. Wonderful safety features…the car practically drove itself on a recent long trip. Traded in my last CRV with 253,000 miles and going strong. Loved my driving experience more than higher priced BMW. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase💜

Happy behind the wheel
I knew exactly what I wanted and the price that I was willing to pay. This Honda CRV Sport Hybrid is fun to drive, has enough power for my needs, and looks sharp both inside and out. I didn't need many of the additional options of the higher models for the price. The driving power is smooth and if I want an additional boost, there is always the Sport mode. Most of the time I just drive in the Normal mode. Heated seats are fantastic in the PA winter but I picked the cloth option for seating because it's a bit more comfortable getting in on hot summers. I did my research so I can't think of anything I don't like. But, if you want super stereo sound and a bigger infotainment system. go up to the top model (if you're willing to add the $$$).
