2026 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews

Looks good. Smooth and quiet but...
My wife and I test drove a CRV Touring and both of us walked away wanting to like it but just couldn't. It's smooth and quiet and handles exceptionally well. The tech and safety features work well and we were impressed. The bad. The front seats have raised sides that squeeze you uncomfortably that gets worse the longer you sit in them. Even in sport mode the power was just ok. Climbing hills on the highway would be pathetic once the battery is depleted. This Toyota and Mazda have bigger engines and get better fuel economy.

the vehicle that does everything right
I've had my 2025 Honda CRV Sport L Hybrid since September 2024. This vehicle rides very well, is solid as a brick, powertrain is very smooth, and around town it often exceeds EPA mileage estimate. Highly recommend!

Smooth ride and has pep when you need it.
I’ve never owned a Honda before, always American cars. I was focused on another American car, Chevy Equinox, but it didn’t have the amount of standard equipment the 2025 CR-V EX L has. So far extremely pleased with this Vehicle.

2026
Having owned multiple CRVs, I've observed a significant improvement in cabin noise reduction compared to earlier models, particularly when the trunk is open during operation. Furthermore, the headrest design has been enhanced, providing a more comfortable and ergonomic experience compared to previous iterations. Upon Bluetooth connection, the current device does not exhibit the multiple connection attempts observed in the previous model. The inclusion of reclining rear seats is a thoughtful feature, and it would have been particularly appreciated during trips when the children were younger. The vehicle's automatic engine stop-start system, which activates upon brake application, is a feature I find undesirable, despite the option to disable it. The vehicle lacks fog lights . A cargo cover isn't included. Furthermore, the gap is not concealed when the rear seats are in an upright position. It appears that SiriusXM is no longer available as a direct option, and the only way to access it is through streaming. Consequently, my spouse now needs to use a charger or Bluetooth to listen to something other than the radio while driving. I find that adjusting the settings with the steering wheel is somewhat time-consuming. Some individuals have mentioned the absence of a spare tire, whereas all of my vehicles have been equipped with one. Additionally, there is a larger infotainment system. The auto-dimming mirror is a welcome feature. However, the automatic high beams sometimes activate at unexpected moments, so I may need to adjust the settings or disable them entirely. It includes numerous options that are often offered as add-ons by other manufacturers.

Crv is reliable.
This is my fourth crv starting in 2008. In those years with more than 300,000 miles they have always performed.
Love my new 2025 CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring
After 2 weeks ownership, I like the way it rides and handles, and the electronic safety features. I like that I can change the locking/unlocking methods, the following distance for the active cruise control, when the headlights come on, and the display organization. There are likely more customizations available, but I haven't found them yet. And most important for me is the good headroom. At 6’-7” I don’t fit in a lot of vehicles. I don’t fit in the similar Toyota, Lexus, and Mazda SUVs, but the CR-V has the headroom I need. My only dislike is the organization of the owners manual, both the paper version and on-line, as it makes it difficult to search/find settings and how to change them.

Choices on comfort and color
Two or three cabin details kept me from purchasing a new CR-V. They include the lack of choice in interior color, the driver’s seat and the steering wheel

Amazing car BUT very very easy to steal
I owned the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid and it was a really nice car but it’s very easy to be stolen. Mine got stolen in my driveway in less than 5 minutes. It was locked and the alarm didn’t ring at all. Honda needs to step up their security features, but until then, I recommend a steering wheel lock to deter thieves or an airtag. It’s such a shame that it’s a brand new car yet it lacks the security features it needed. Less than 5 minutes is crazy (saw the video of the person doing it) I live in Queens, NY in a quiet neighborhood as well.
