Used 2002 Ford Taurus Consumer Reviews
My 3 Day Review...
I just bought this car 3 days ago after having a good history with my previous car, the '94 Mercury Sable. Has enough pick-up to get going when you need it.
Not your Father's Taurus
When looking for a new car to buy, the last thing I wanted to get was my Dad's car. But one look at the sleek design of the Taurus SEL with a spoiler and you quickly discover this is not a conservative car. The power and smooth ride is truly unbelievable. I have driven this car at 110 mph and it was smooth as glass thanks to the big 16" tires. The engine is powerful and reliable at 200 hp. On the inside, it's pure luxury. Power everything, sunroof, and a kick-butt Mach stereo system, keeps me smiling every mile I drive. This is truly a great car. At 19000 miles, I haven't had any problems.
All around value!
No other car that I have seen on the market truely offers the level of quality and value than Ford Taurus. I work in the auto sales business and I see a lot of cars! Taurus delivers convenience and safety as well as any in the segment. Little things like available adjustable accelerator and brake pedals and five passenger seating make the drive enjoyable. Value is the name of the car game ant Taurus is a major player!
Nice car
This is my first Taurus it's a SES with leather, adjustable pedals, luxury/convenience group. The ride and handling are great and the standard engine is all the power that I need and am happy with gas mileage. It was made in Atlanta and fit and finish is great.
O2 SEL
OK tranportation, but value after buying falls too quickly.Bought for 20k now with 38K miles it's worth $7600. No thanks Ford, not again. The self dimming rear view mirrow is more of nunance than value, doesn't dim enough. Could of used disk brakes on rear instead of drum. If you buy one, get it used and save yourself the loss of value.
