EcoBoost High Performance Package Above The Rest
I bought the 2020 EcoBoost HPP 3 Months ago. Was the first owner of one in my state. This car can move. It has a lot of power and accelerates very quickly. It handles corners very strongly and blind spots are non existent. Feels great when accelerating and on corners. Loaded with modern convenience. Never have I had more compliments on any vehicle I’ve ever owned in 43 years. I would buy it again and again.

Galloping Mustang
The Mustang GT is strictly a two seater. The back seat is so small, it can only be used for a couple of sacks of groceries. But, if your looking for an out of this world sports car at a reasonable price, check it out. It has tremendous acceleration with the 5.0 engine. The brakes are superb. I drive with the Sport mode because the automatic transmission shifts through every gear. In "normal" mode the transmission skips 2nd and 4th gears. It jerks when you accelerate in this mode between gears. The shifting is smooth in the sport mode. I bought the 2019 GT Premium for a $1,000 less than a 2018 Camaro 2SS. GREAT DEAL. Also, the Mustang has a flat dash that makes the view easy and I have a reference where the wheels are by a complete view of the hood. I hated the Camaro's instrument pods. They almost completely blocked the view of the hood, even though I raised the seat as high as I could. I have adult children, so the limited rear seating is not a problem. Completely satisfied the the GT.

Plenty of Attention and Fun
Love my Bullitt. My first American car in 25 years and boy is it fun. Fast and loud. Love how you can set up the driving modes. Handles wonderfully although the ride is very slightly choppy. It’s fuuny how you get so much attention and thumbs ups. Got a great deal too. I’m back in love with American muscle. My wife loves to drive it too.

Real Muscle
First, my Mustang is a GT Premium with the 10 Speed AT. (Not a choice when selecting model for review). Plenty of power, not a Lincoln ride but still smooth, as good if not better than my previous Fusion. Responsive control, excellent acceleration, great mpg—18 to 19 in town, 29 plus at interstate speeds—if you “jack rabbit” you will really reduce it.. the power is there when needed. Instrumentation is more than adequate, easy to use, arranged nicely. 5000 miles in my first two and a half months. Looks great, fun to drive, great road car for family of two!

2019 Mustang GT base
I love this car. I traded in a 2016 mustang with the v6 that car was also excellent for a v6. This new car has the 10 speed auto and the acceleration is simply amazing. The engine is redlined at 7500 rpm incredable for a v8 engine. The ride is comfortable and the car is just plain fun to drive. You can get 30 mpg on the highway at 60-65 mph which is amazing to me however I rarely get that kind of mileage because it's much more fun to drive it faster. If you want a car that's reasonably priced and is a ball to drive get one.

Great summmer car for the old folks
I am 72, and my wife is 74. Still trying to stay connected with our youth. I had a 2006 GT with a lot of performance mods and harsh ride. So I decided to upgrade last March. Walked out with a 2 year lease of a 2019 Ecoboost Convertible with Premium Package and Pony Package with a $44k price tag. A whole lot for a 4 banger. I also got the "active exhaust" as I needed some sound to go with the looks. Bottom line is I love this car. We only put 2400 miles on it this summer; my wife drove it most and the grandkids got to drive it too. The boy, 15 with a learners permit, got on the interstate and kicked it in the hammer lane. He then looked at me sheepishly and I said no worries, that's why Ford built this car. Pros: Great style. My wife will drive only in top down weather and at 74 she still gets whistles. Red with black top and interior. 10 speed automatic. 4 modes for the shift and exhaust. Put it in "sport" drive and exhaust. No need to floor it, just kick it and a great response and great sound. No it's not the 5.0 but 460hp is way too much for me. It is rated at 315hp and 345 fb torque....and it moves. This is the 4th Mustang for me over a 20 year period. The one I loved most was a 98 Cobra Convertible....but this ecoboost is just as fast. You know the Ford GT supercar has an ecoboost engine.....it costs half a million. Of course there huge differences but tells you how much Ford believes in this ecoboost engine. Back to the car. It has 4 exhaust pipes; the rear looks really cool. The pony package has great alloy wheels.....I will never get black wheels as I think this is the worst trend in the auto industry. It rides well. Handles like it is on rails. Feels solid. The only drawback is the one you already know and that is not much room in the back seat. But who cares? In this day and age all the SUV's look alike and you can't tell a decked out Kia from a C Class Benz from a block away. But everyone knows a Mustang. And they love it. They love it because it has been around for 55 years, and it's a car they dream of and will be able to afford.. If they see a Benz SL Convertible they will glance at it, but know they will never be able to afford it and think it's some rich snob driving it. But a Mustang is an "every person" car. That says it all.

2019 Mustang Bullitt the Best Mustang ever made!
If you are looking at buying a sports car that will beg you to actually DRIVE it ever chance you get, this car is it. I have owned more that 15 muscle cars, several of which have been Mustangs. I've owned supercharged cars, etc. This car, with MagneRide is incredible. The sweet sound of the adjustable exhaust is unique, cool and simply the best. The ride is quiet and the brakes are fantastic. The Michelin 4s tires grip and are quiet. The engine is amazing and revs to the sky. The rev-matching begs you to downshift the crisp, short throws of the MT-82 Manual 6 speed transmission. The color is simply unique to this car. The seats are comfy. Trust me, if you dare test drive one, be ready to write a check. It is honestly that good.

Beautiful blue GT
I bought this after selling my 1975 Trans am and thought it wouldn’t be as nice as that classic car. But I as so wrong, my wife and I just love the car. It has the performanc 1 level and it is just a ball to drive with the 6 speed manual and the brakes are incredible 6piston Brembo’s!. The seats are very comfortable and the sync 3 it easy to navigate the climate control for both of us and both bucket seats 6 power the trunk is much bigger than a Camero and you can really see out of this wonderful Mustang. I give it a 10

Great!First Mustang, heck forst Ford
Just got mine with 18,000 miles on it. It was a rental. Velocity Blue. Like new, perfect condition. New tires, Has 401a package, 10 spd. Does not have the dynamic exhaust valve, but the sound is still nice even with the top up. Maybe I will get a Borla or Magna flow at some point, not a real need. Paint has no Orange peel. Leather everywhere. Stereo is great, could use a little more base.. 9 speaker model. Did not have the convertible shake some reviewers mention to any significant degree.... Have had many manuals, but like the ten spd and is kept in sport mode. Too much City cruising for the six speed. Great visibility with top up or down and why I chose Mustang over Camaro, plus easier in and out. Love the side mirror warning lights and adaptive cruise control. Seata are comfortable, 6 way power. And like a Porsche 911, the back seat is not for full size people, but my Lab likes them. No wind buffeting with the top down. Its a great all around car that like to play, has great handling even though I don't have the performance package with larger brakes and wheel. Not needed for a convertible which is not going to be tracked... Its as good as any foreign made vehicle and at half the price... American muscle is back.

My New 2020 Mustang GT
This car is a very solid bargain for people that want the experience of a muscle car without breaking the bank. It is my 5th Mustang and by far the best. I love the look and feel of the performance package as well as the reasonable insurance cost due to the Safe and Smart package. Exhaust package is a must also. I have owned over 100 cars and this is definitely in the top 10.

Features, Function, Tech, in a great Pony Car!
I was looking for a fun, sporty daily driver. I am coming out of a 2017 Subaru WRX. I was drawn to the Mustang. Ford currently has great incentives on the Mustang. I found it to be refined, fun, and functional. The 10 speed auto trans is the best I've seen in quirte a while. It is real smooth and keeps the RPM's optimal. The Ecoboot 4 cyIinder engine is quick and responsive. Slightly herky jerky in low gears as it tries to find the optimal gear. I opted for the all season sport tires. (Goodyear Eagle) I did not want to swirch out the summer & winter tires. The tech package is easy to use with a large screen. The gauges and functiuon switches are well placed and make for maximum function and appearance. The trunk is more than adequate. The seats are supportive and the 8 way power seat allows you to find the sweet spot for longer rides. For 25K, I am thrilled wirth the Value. Let's see how the long tern durability is.

Best Mustang
My 1st Mustang was a 1966 coupe which I followed with a 1967 Fastback (wish I had kept it). Fast forward and we have a 2109 Ecoboost Premium convertible. Wow, have these cars changed. I love this car. From the very nice interior and electronics to the great acceleration, We couldn't ask for more. Avery comfortable ride and really great handling and, talk about looks. We have the Orange Fury and added black stripes on the hood--what a head turner. Haven't had this much fun since we bought our BMW Z4 in 2003---still have it and love it just as much. Still loving the ‘stang! Great head turner and just plain fun.

2020 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
Great performance, better than expected gas mileage, and gets stared at everywhere I go, couldn't ask for more. Love the variable exhaust system option. Don't believe the cars gas mileage indicator on the dash board, mine was overly optimistic by 1.2 miles per gallon consistently. Got the premium interior with all digital dash, fun to play with and configure, only downside were the premium leather seats which didn't fit correctly, was told by dealer this was acceptable quality variation, maybe for American manufacturers, not for foreign cars

Great fun!
It was time to pass along a 21 year old convertible six speed Tans Am to my nephew as it needed TLC from the beach air. We replaced with the convertible GT six speed mustang and we love it! Both my wife and I enjoy the driving experience and it is truly a lot of fun to drive. It is really nice to have so many options of driving adjustments and lighting options. This is a great car!

Makes Me Smile EVERY Day
The Bullitt Mustang is a pure joy to drive - the exhaust note is music to the ears and the 480 hp is enough to raise your heartbeat. It has a high quality (GT Premium) interior and MagneRide suspension. The retro "cue ball" shifter knob looks extremely cool, but makes your palm a bit sweaty. For golfers - the trunk is 50% bigger than the Camaro.

Fast and Fun with a Cool vibe
After owning this Bullitt Mustang for two years I can honestly say it is the best sounding and most fun to drive sports car either fast or slow. Plus besides fun it’s very practical with plenty of storage and a very comfortable ride. It’s also a bargain when comparing it to many European sports coupes. Great exterior styling and cool interior with the black leather and cue ball shifter.

2020 base mustang gt, great sound and power. faster than my muscle car of the 60s, handle and rides well for a sport car. Overall could not be much happier
2 year of ownership update
Currently have a little over 19,000 miles on my GT. The covid 19 lockdown significantly decrease how much I have driven for the past year. Anyway, here's my update on my 2019 Mustang GT Premium, with Performance Pack 1. First, this car is my daily driver. I never raced it or taken it to the track. Most of the mileage are highway miles. I'm averaging around 22 mpg highway, and around 15 city, averaging around 18 combined. Everything about the car is stock, and I find the power to be more than enough for me. Although I don't race, I have driven my car on curvy roads many times, and I find it very manageable and stable on turns, even on high speed. The clutch is still stiff, but I am used to it by now. The transmission is definitely not the smoothest, but it is holding up. Now what I don't like about the car after 2 years? First, I find that the paint is thin. It has a good number of chips up front, almost the same amount as my 8 year old GTI. The windshield also is too sensitive. I already had to get it fixed 2x because of small chips and cracks, while my GTI's windshield is still untouched. Another one is the amount of rattle inside, specially around the dashboard area, which I couldn't locate and driving me nuts sometimes. The wheels on the Performance Pack 1 is also hard to keep clean. Its glossy finish doesn't stay clean for long, specially the front because of the break dust created by the brembo breaks. Other than those minor complaints, I find my Mustang a very good car, and I'm glad I bought it. Hopefully, it will hold up for many years.

Plenty of horses
Driving in normal is quite tame. Shifting into sport takes you into another realm of performance which is quite thrilling. Sport turns this 310 HP into a real sports car. If you feel the GT is too much price and power, this car is for you.
Mustang Bullitt is a World Class Competitor!
So there I was, back on the market shopping for a suitable replacement for my 2007 Volvo S60R; which isn't an easy task. After 12 years and 125k blissful miles in my S60R, I was thinking BMW 4 series or 5 series was a no brainer; right? I mean the 440 is a comparable size, or the 535 which is so sexy; well BOTH cars disappointed me when compared to the S60R. Don't get me wrong the bimmers are quality cars, but didn't deliver the "WOW" factor my S60R gave me so many years ago. A friend suggested the 2019 Mustang...LOL! NEVER! I said, feeling almost insulted he would suggest I would consider a piece of trash to replace my precious S60R. Then I saw the Bullitt; Glorious deep forest green paint SANS ponyboy decals, could this be a Euro subdued version of a Mustang? Well I gave it a test drive and it was love like my S60R! It was complete with a 6MT, glourious exhaust, solid, fast, smooth, comfy, advanced electronics, mangeride shocks, and the character! Well after 12k in a year of ownership, the Bullitt still brings a smile to my face... even more than my beloved S60R!

love my ecoboost
i have the stick shift ecoboost. use it as a commuter. i live in the mountains and commute to the city. i do not want an automatic because they shift up and down way too much going up and down the hills plenty of power. some people laugh at the fact that it is a four cylinder mustang until they watch me pass them like they are standing still. not a v8 but a lot faster than most people think. i get 30 mpg doing my commute. i have had the car for two years and still look forward to driving it every day.

10 Speed Automatic
Who say you can’t have fun with an automatic. I’ve been on both sides of the equation. The automatic is more engaging because of the drive modes available. Sport plus and track mode brings out the Hyde part of Jekyll and active exhaust is a must have. The digital display is eye candy and the B and O is music to you’re ears. The performance pack is much more refined than the 2015-17 models. Car feels planted all the times and there is no axle hop on hard acceleration. On the other hand in normal mode and the exhaust set to quiet mode turns the car into a cruiser. I love the many personalities, yeah just like me. Pick one and have fun. Update March 23, 2022 Still having fun, getting ready to take a road trip, the first one. I'm surprised that all 5.0 Automatics don't come with all the drive modes, Just be careful and make sure your get a premium model to get the drive modes, it's worth the extra money because you get a better interior. I'm amazed that people complain about the back seat. This should be known when you buy the car. By back seat is there only for small personal Items and not people. Carrying people around in the back seat is not what this car is about. The power for this vehicle is excellent. I've been asked about mode, I'm good with where I am. I considered a super charger but It's not necessary and I don't think it would add to the value or experience of what I'm getting. $8000 for 1.5 seconds and a voided or shorten warranty is not a good value. I had straight pipes to replace the resonator and the sound was epic. I eventually installed a Ford Performance X pipe to keep the car stock and within warranty. The x pipe is not as much fun. I highly recommend the active exhaust because it controlled the straight pipes very well. I still was able to quieten the car down when needed. Straight pipes are more fun, may install them again. One other thing, the paint quality could be better to resist chipping. Panel fitment is about an 8 out of ten. The interior is a 10. With the digital display there are more lather appointments that gives more comfort. The Shaker Pro system has better mids and highs. The B&O is base heavy and I find myself adjusting the bass down. The balance could be better. As stated the Shaker Pro in the 15-17 was perfect.

Thunder Rush
My 2012 Base Mustang with the 3.7 V6 was a great car! After some minor upgrades, it was time for a new 2020 GT with the 401 Premium Package. This car is amazing and gives you all the power and handling you need to have as much fun as you want. I drive the car through the winter with a good set of snow tires on the 4 corners with no problem. Best bang for your dollar, and the sound is unmistakable! This update on my 2020 Ford Mustang GT is dated February 1, 2024. The car now has about 11,100kms on it and has had no mechanical or electronic problems at all. It drives as new and looks as good as the day l purchased the car. I highly recommend this car to anyone who appreciates driving a performance vehicle. This update is dated August 1, 2024. The car now has 13,000klms and is in perfect shape, no issues or problems whatsoever. The car performance and handling has not changed since purchased over 3 years ago.

It's a Mustang and then it's not
I've always thought of a Mustang as a car for the want-a-be sports car fan who could, 't afford a real fast and fun sports car.(ie.Corvette, BMW,etc.). Well having owned many sports cars in my lifetime, and after a test drive, this could,'t be further than the truth. In April,I bought it off the Dealership on the spot. Mine has 2 of the 3 available options and it turns out, and as luck would have it, that's the way I would have ordered it. Unique in style, fast enough, great interior and a blast to drive. I was able to get a little break off the list sticker price, but clearly, I would have paid fully and maybe slightly over. My only hope is that Ford stops making this edition after 2020 because I love the idea that ( at least in my area) it's the only one on the road.-Great Job Ford Designers!!

My Wife's 5.0
My wife's got a soft touch. Who knew that her driving style would pair so well with such a beefy car. She uses it as a daily, but has gained a lot of confidence on the California freeways. The power is always available to scoot away from a careless lane drifter or to whiz on or onto the on/off ramp. So although she drives it like her old Honda Odyssey, the power is always there to keep her safe. The styling is great. We got dark gray on the performance pack level 1. It's just enough black with bits of chrome here and there to give the car a touch of class. Perfect for my wife - mean and elegant at the same time.

2019 GT Premium PP1 Magnetic Metalic sparkly gray
Once you buy it, you WILL get mod fever. Talked to a mech at Riley Performance Motorcars in Gainesville TX (shameless plug). He said the new s550"s are great just the way they come from the factory unless you are going to track your car all the time. I am not, but I have contracted mod fever. Lowering springs are in. Clutch pedal spring, gas struts in place of hood latch, splash guards, and a BMF dual sub woofer box. So far. Front wheel spacers and solid mount for the manual MT-82 tranny are next. Don't need em. Just want em. But overall WHAT A GREAT MACHINE! 3rd gear is awesome. Great stereo and really comfy seats. Incredible looks. I do recommend the Mustang.

Beautiful and fast car with quality issues
I owned a joyride 2019 GT premium convertible automatic (I can't fix the model summary in the title above, as there's only an option to click manual), for 3 years. Great looking and handling, comfortable and fast car. Unfortunately I got turned off by multiple quality issues. I had trouble with the climate system and heated/ventilated seats multiple times, clunky 10 speed automatic transmission, the rear quarter windows would not go all the way back up without being pulled by hand for the last half inch of their travel, jammed radiator shutters or whatever they are called and some other things. The way the ventilated seats were designed, they were absolutely useless with the top down in warm weather which is exactly when you would want them to be working well. This was a pampered, garaged, low mileage car. Prior to it, I had a 2011 which mechanically was perfect and I put a lot more hard miles on it but it was let down by paint finish, hood corrosion and a deteriorating top. I've rated it pretty highly, as I have done with the 2011, because of their many positive features.
Great deal
First thing, I traded a RT charger for this car and when it comes to storage it does fine in the trunk. I can fit 2 large golf bags in it with no problem. Power is incredible and the sound is so enjoyable from the V8. Stereo with Sync 3 is basic but I enjoy the purr and growl of the engine instead. I love to keep it in sport mode as the down shifts coming to a stop with the 10 speed auto is quite a joy! 460 HP under 38K with 10 speed and Sync 3, I'm in!!!!

Rented one
Rented a 2019 turbo 4 convertible I think with performance package. Car build quality and ergonomics are impressive. Getting in and out of care was easier than I expected as Im a little older. The turbo four is a nice strong engine with decent throttle response. Engine and exhaust sound is nice and appropriate for this type of car although if I was buying one I would definitely spend the extra money for the powerful 5.0 engine. The bad. The suspension is a little to bouncy and firm at the same time. Its not sorted out real well. The 10 speed transmission is not great and not terrible. It lunges a little at low speeds and the shifts when on part throttle are a little unrefined, Mushy and harsher shifts than other well sorted cars. Over all a pleasant car with a lot of bang for the buck but not for me. Maybe the I would feel differently about the 5.0. The car I drive it own for reference is a BMW 435IX that has been tuned and slightly modified.
Terrible car with poor reliability
Went through 3 --MT-82 "JUNK" transmissions in 6k miles, multiple software bugs and 2 failed fuel injectors with the CEL coming back 3 separate times. car spent weeks at the dealer. Owned it for 1 year and dumped that lemon. Fought with Ford to try to get a replacement car or payout for what it was worth at the time. They refused any interaction and their regional customer service reps were a bunch idiots that wanted to keep returning the car to be repaired time and time again. Will NEVER again purchase another Ford vehicle!!! After you buy the car they want nothing to do with you.

The Bullitt Quest
Most Ford Dealers, in Tennessee, a selling the Bullit, at or more than MSRP. I was able to locate the Dark Highland Green Metallic Bullitt, at limited dealers, in Tennessee. I was looking for a specific Bullitt, with certain options and found a few dealers, with these options. I sent out an inquire through Edmonds web sight and received the most responses, from the Ford Dealers. The replies to my inquire was extremely fast and efficient. I did buy a 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt, with Edmonds help. Thanks Edmonds for your help, with my Bullitt Journey.
