Used 2020 Ford Mustang Consumer Reviews
Jerky automatic, rough ride, noisy
The Ecoboost 10 speed automatic is terrible. Worst automatic I’ve ever owned. Ford updated the software and it still jerks a lot. Ride on the 19 inch wheels is awful on broken or patched pavement. The interior is very noisy at 50 to 65 mph with an annoying drone.

Disappointed in mustang do not waste your money
I’d rather have my old 09 that I had before I got in a hit and run the 2019 is an absolute piece of garbage I got it at 12k miles and the 09 ran better and faster with 200k the windows have Tourette’s and will never stop going back and fourth it’s my first stick shift I’ve owned and my dads old Ford ranger shifts better and the 1st gear was burnt on it for 26grand you’d think you’d get a good one but they don’t do that anymore it’s get it out as fast as possible good luck adding anything to your fuse box no lighting kits no music unless I pay the Ford dealership to install it or find the part when I’ve looked and bought micro tappa circuits because they change from the 09 for some reason they sold me the car with deflated tires went for oil change tires still at 25 instead of 51 so their not doing their job and trying to wear and tear the vehicle I’m buying a dealership is absolutely trash unless your their favorite customer. The engine is below sub par it’s definitely no 310 hp 340 lbs of torque there’s no way if that’s the case my 09 mustang must have hellcat stats this vehicle is being put out as something it’s not all it is is sharp looking other than that what a terrible build I could build better with what’s in my Dewalt bag

Still love it
First thing, I traded a RT charger for this car and when it comes to storage it does fine in the trunk. I can fit 2 large golf bags in it with no problem. Power is incredible and the sound is so enjoyable from the V8. Stereo with Sync 3 is basic but I enjoy the purr and growl of the engine instead. I love to keep it in sport mode as the down shifts coming to a stop with the 10 speed auto is quite a joy! 460 HP under 38K with 10 speed and Sync 3, I'm in!!!!

Mostly good, a bit bad
I've been driving my Ecoboost for a bit over a year now, and I have mostly good things to say. It's extremely comfortable, looks amazing for the price, and drives fantastically. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, the Ecoboost are fast. They may not be V8 fast, but if you're looking for faster than 0-60 in 5.2, you're probably not considering a car as cheap as the Ecoboost. Now, while it's a great car, it does have some drawbacks. First, and biggest in my opinion, is that the interior rattles like crazy and at random. Some days it's silent, but in a year I've found over 10 different rattles in the cabin, which can be really annoying when taking longer trips. Second downside is the motor's propensity to have problems. Currently, at about 38k miles, I'm having a new motor put in under warranty. I'm not sure if it's sloppy manufacturing or the fact that Ford tunes these engines to run up to 22 psi of boost from factory, but something makes motor replacements in these worrying common. If you can get one with lots of warranty left, I say go for it! Otherwise, maybe consider a competitor.

This was my Bullitt mustang
This was my Bullitt mustang. I really liked this car. I know I’m going to regret selling it.
Everything I expected and more!
2020 Mustang GT PP1, manual trans. Easy enough to daily drive, then with selectable drive modes get all the performance you can use and more on the street. The car is a ton of fun and I get a lot of compliments on it, including big smiles and thumbs up from the neighborhood kids. It's a bit loud inside from the exhaust, but it's a GT so if you don't like a V8 rumble it's not really the car for you anyway. Def would recommend.

Bullitt! The one to buy.
The review did not go into the performance models and options available like the Bullitt Mustang for instance. I was looking at the GT350 but after checking insurance rates, much higher maintenance costs plus I was 100% street driving I started looking at the limited production Bullitt mustang. Six speed manual transmission, engine upgrades to produce 480hp, for better handling the suspension has the performance pack one with magnaride and all the tech and comfort options available plus its retro looks was the best option for me. I believe I made the right choice. This car does it all, head turning looks and sound, comfort and reliability. Every drive puts a smile on your face plus even driving like a hooligan it still gets over 20 MPG.
Not worth the money
I bought my mustang last summer for about 40k, it’s super loud, fast and fun to drive engine and Trans started making ticking noise at 6k mikes dealer saying it’s normal.

2019 Mustang Ecoboost
I bought my ecoboost in May 2019, when the weather started getting cold, my windshields started freezing from the inside.
Its a fast car; infotainment sucks.
2019 Mustang GT with Roush/Ford supercharger for 750 h.p. plus Ford Street Performance suspension (not magneride) $50,000. Its MUCH faster than anything else. I love it. Period.

Pony
Awesome car
Lots of problems ( Mountain View Ford)
I Purchased 2019 echo boost from mountain view ford in Chattanooga. I was happy to get it but always hav8to go to the dealership with problems. The day I purchased it they would not wash it until after I purchased it (it was Filthy) so when they finally washed it I noticed cracks in the drunk panel so they fixed a week later. And when I got it home there were surface scratches in the clearcoat all the car so the buffed it out with little success. Then noticed trim in the back seat want stay in place I keeps popping out and today noticed one of my headlights is not lining up like it should tried to fix it but I will have to take the front clip off to do so. SO I SUGGEST TO LOOK AT EVERY SQUARE INCH OF THE CAR BEFORE BUYING (A NEW CAR SHOULD LOOK LIKE A NEW CAR NOT ONE THAT HAS TO BE REPAIRED IN THE FIRST MONTH)

Fast!!!!
LOVE this car!!!! Handles like a dream. Lots of power. Comfortable to drive for a few hours at a time. Got the performance package will be taking it to the track ASAP!! “”Update””. Still love this car!!!! 8k miles and going strong! Took it to a couple track events and It does very well to hold its own. Has plenty of power to hang with most cars out there. Little bit of body roll makes you work in the corners. Will be looking to install some of the many mods available for this car!

Great Pony car
Beautiful car, very comfortable with a lot of zip. I prefer a manual transmission which makes it more exciting to drive but the automatic is wonderful too and you can use the paddle shifters if you feel the need. The car is a big muscle car not a zippy sports car. I love it.

Love Mustang GT
Great performance and handling with 10 speed automatic. Gas mileage on highway has been really great at 27 mpg due to stock 3:15 axle ratio. Bought at a great price and very happy with the reliability of the car.

Third 5 liter Ford; still enthusiastic about these
Bit of a car enthusiast. Over the years have had three Ford/Mercury 5 liter coupes; one Capri, one Mustang Cobra, one Mustang GT. All stick shift. All purchased new. All kept over 10 years. All have been very satisfactory. Over the years the horsepower has increased, the handling has improved. I drive conservatively 95% of the time; gas mileage has been good. All three cars have been quite reliable.

Great Car!!!
Since buying my first brand new car, 1978 Trans Am Special Edition with the W6 package; this Mustang GT puts a smile on my face. Naturally with raising a family, your choice of “fun” cars are limited. Now that I’m retired, I can have the car I want and not worry about not having a usable rear seat. But, since I do have grand kids I purchased my wife a new Ford Explorer Limited with the third row seating. I love this car and having the manual transmission makes it even better. I don’t worry about gas mileage, but it seems to reasonable gas mileage. I drove the Eco-boost Mustang and it just didn’t have “the feel” a V-8 can only do. The torque, sound and handling. I love this car!!

Great car for the price
V8, rear wheel drive, manual, and available creature comforts all available at a reasonable price with great performance. If you live in the states, you won’t find a better combination if you are looking for a daily driven sports car with a visceral feel. UPDATE: Engine is the star… manual transmission is the buzzkill from time to time. Mastering the manual transmission in the GT is challenging and really can destroy what should be a great experience from time to time. I would recommend the Mach 1 if you are in the market for a manual 5.0. Otherwise, with the exception of a few quality issues including the sync system and the speakers in the non subwoofer variants, the car is really great for the price.

Love of my life MUSTANGS ♥️
Mustangs were my dream car. The 2020 Mustang Ecoboost I had I loved it. She had the power to get up in go. I love the fast pace I got from her. I kept the miles low on her cause of the pandemic. I had to trade her in for and SUV for my grandbabies. If u have kids Mustangs are not for you right now. It had 2 of them but I had to let the dream go for my kids.
