Used 2006 Ford Mustang Consumer Reviews
2006 XMAS PONY
Excellent vehicle. This has truly brought some joy back into commutes. Fun to drive coupled with great gas mileage. 1200 miles in 2 weeks and still having a great time. Smooth manual transmission allows a more sporty feel. Exhaust system could use some deepening, and a low frequency rumble has been noted at the 70 mph marker but not above it. This is a vehicle to watch your acceleration on, before you know it you are doing 60 to 70 all the time. Good Luck and enjoy this corner hugging pony.
love my pony
So far the experience has been great. I love my '06 pony. Mine is vista blue, charcoal black interior with a 5 speed. And the dash lights, wow.

Great Car
It's noisy. It rides rough. It's uncomfortable on long trips. It's great on gas. It looks great. It has not let me down. I wouldn't trade it for another.....Unless it was a newer one. This is my second one. It's all mine. And it's payed off!
This car alone brought me to Ford.
And it was SOOOOO worth it! This is the best thing Ford has done since the 1969 Mustang (maybe the only good thing). But the GT coupe is pure perfection, and a muscle car enthusiasts dream! I am so happy about the pricing too, because having a new Mustang with these classic lines and growl is worth 10-15k more. I can't wait for the warm weather!
The Ultimate Mustang
This is my third Mustang ('84 GT, '90 GT convertible) and this is, without question, the quintessential Pony Car. At 47, I was ready to settle down and purchase an Accord or Toyota. Glad I didn't. You can't get more bang for your buck. And if you don't drive like a madman, you can get decent gas mileage (I'm currently averaging 20.6 mpg - city and highway). Ford, you hit this one outta the park!
