Used 2005 Ford Freestyle Consumer Reviews
Freestyle SEL
Terminated our lease on an '03 Explorer to get into the Freestyle. Went to the dealer expecting to purchase the SE model but with the Family and Friends program pricing got an SEL well within our budget. The styling upgrades and standard features on the SEL are well worth the extra expense.
Impressed
This is a nice vehicle. Great for hauling kids and groceries. AWD is very nice, especially in winter. Great drive too.

Mostly Happy Customer
I needed 7 passenger seating and found that the seating in the Freestyle was much better than the Freestar. However, it is harder for my little ones 2 & 4 to climb out from the 2nd row seats. Exit from 3rd row is easier for them. The car is great! CVT drives very nice. Handles great. Fuel economy is 6 mpg better than Freestar which at $2 and 18k miles a year the difference is $400 which is one payment. Have not yet experienced the snow but got the FWD instead on AWD. SE was good bargain compared to SEL which costs $3k more and all you get is the message center.
Ford Freestyle 2005 - satisfaction
I was skeptical about trying the Ford Freestyle's 1st year out, however, at this point I am glad that I did. So far I am very happy with it and the ride is smooth and the comfort is great. I had the Explorer years ago and I loved it and the Freestyle reminds me of the ride and comfort of the Explorer only better on gas. I would definitely recommend this car to everyone. I am often stopped and questioned about it. The climate control is great as is the sound quality of the radio and CD player.
Ford Freestyle
I love my new Ford Freestyle. It rides & drive very smooth. I really like all the features that are standard, and the CVT transmission is exceptionally nice. I highly recommend this vehicle.
