Probably the most versatile vehicle I have ever driven. An excellent blend of an SUV, a minivan and a car. The people and cargo carrying configurations are excellent, the CVT is awesome and the AWD system is second to none and performed flawlessly in our snowy winter. Many claim the vehicle is underpowered but I believe that this is a misperception because of the CVT. I find the vehicle more than powerful enough even fully loaded merging onto a highway and with the CVT you get far better mileage than many others without it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone and especially for those looking for something a little different from the SUV or minivan.

We replaced my wife's '01 Volvo S-40 with the new Freestyle. we strongly considered an XC-90, but considering the cost and features, and the maintenance costs of the Volvo, excessive to say the least, the Ford won us over, being based off the S 60 platform. Ford has a winner this time around, although not without some areas that could be improved. The interior fit and finish could be better, Ive noted several gaps in the dash panel, A-pillar area, switchgear, especially the power mirror switch on the top left of the driver's door; looks like a last minute addition, plus it takes too much reach to safely adjust while driving. And Id prefer a hand operated emergency brake. Overall the interior looks cheap.
It actually gets the MPG advertised

Having traded a Dodge Grand Caravan with Sto&Go seats, I was pleased that the fold down 3rd row and 2nd row seats gave just about the same room as the Sto&Go system. The MPG on my first 1500 mile trip was 26.5 with the air on and 27.5 with the air off. Drives great and front seats are very comfortable. Glad I made the switch!

I love my new car. I've owned Fords since 1990, and this equals or surpasses my car experience. It's fun to drive and perfect for my needs and style. I would recommend a Freestyle to anyone.

I have had a lot of different autos in the last several years. I love my Freestyle; it has so much room and it is fun to drive. It also is a very sharp looking sporty car. I plan on keeping this one awhile.
