Used 2003 Ford Focus Consumer Reviews
Buy This Car!
Moving from a 300M to the Focus SE was scary, but once I drove this car I loved it!. The best handling of any car I have driven. Cruises around 75-80, and gets 28-30 mpg.
I've had enough of Ford
At first I loved this car, but now.. It eats tires, I've have 2 solenoids replaced, shocks replaced twice. Fuel Filter, enertia switch replaced and still I find myself at least once a week with a dead car. If I let it sit about 30 min then it starts fine, mechanic can't find the problem but it sure stinks to sit in the daycare or walmart parking lot while I wait the 30 min. I'm looking for a new car and I can assure you it will not be a Ford product.

What a steal!
The Focus is a great car. This car has the best 4 cylinder ever put in an American production car. It has good power and the gearing pretty well matches the power curves. For what the car lacks in low end power, it makes up for in the upper RPMs. Ford also did their homework in the handling department. This car is also has a well laid out, comfortable cabin.
DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE
YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO $PEND MONEY ON MAINTAINANCE BECAUSE IT STARTS TO BREAKDOWN ONLY AT 20K MILES!!! SO OVER ALL....IT'S NOT A GOOD CAR TO HAVE IF YOU'RE ON LIMITED BUDGET NOR BUSY LIFESTYLE BECUASE YOU WILL SPEND MORE TIME IN THE SERVICE DEPT RATHER THAN GOING ABOUT WITH YOUR LIFE!
experience has been bad
over the last 3 yrs I'v had to replace the tires annualy as least they have had 14+ recalls! My ignition went out and cost $500 to replace the windows roll the wrong way snow dents the door! The exterior window control plastic covers fell off overall my focus has been nothing but trouble oh and my brakes have had to been replaced twice just be cautious
