This car is a good example of a love- hate relationship. Towing, Off- Roading, Hauling, and just about anything else this trucks does with ease. The ride quality is very bad though, being very bouncy especially compared to the new Sierra. The interior is very disappointing to, being very ugly.

Traded in a 2011 GMC Sierra for a HD with 8' bed and couldn't be happier. The ONLY thing I liked better on the GMC was the gas mileage, I'm sure it's because it was a much lighter 1500. This truck feels solid but also heavy when driving, but the power from the 6.2L has been great. There is NO lack of power from this engine whatsoever, and lets be realistic to say that its not a diesel. The interior may look a bit odd like a teenage kid into transformers designed it, but so far has been real solid and rattle free. love the fact that Ford hasn't integrated the radio and hvac as one unit. I've been averaging from 15.5 to 17 mpg and it seems to get a little better as I put more miles on her.

Fuel tank too small - when pulling travel trailer I can only get about 160 mile to a tank - always looking for fuel stops. Backup sensors should have off button on dash like the 2008. Cannot put a cloths rack in to hang cloths like most vehicles. Clothes hanger are a joke. Mud flaps not yet available.

Owning the Ford F-350 diesel was an excellent learning , albiet expensive experience. If one lives on a ranch or farm, in rugged backcountry that experiences brutal winters, the Ford F-350 diesel may be justified. My Ford F-350 diesel was traded for a new Ford F-150 4X4 crew cab, 5.0 gas engine. It is perfect for most of my transportation needs. When the occasions calls, screams for driving excitement, My Corvette ZR-1 suits my needs to perfection.

Great truck. #33 Ford truck for me. Much better than 08-10 trucks. Smoother ride. A little overpriced(10%). Very smooth towing. Metallic black paint is girly.
