Best truck for carrying VIP passengers
My 6L diesel truck has about 36k on it now, and never had an unscheduled maintenance. None of my many Toyotas were this reliable. I have always gotten around 14 to 16mpg in town (hills and stop signs and long, long red lights in Meridian, MS). On the highway, I get over 23mpg if I am driving 55mph; as little as 18mpg if I am going 80 on a windy, rainy day, empty or loaded up and trailering. I have driven it in a hurricane (here, Katrina was all-day-long 45 to 55mph and the truck never felt unstable); my work can call me out at odd hours. It seems as fast as my '06 Corvette, and is fine for 6 snooty adults! Highly recommended!
First F250
Had several F150s but needed something to pull my 30ft RV in the Colorado mountains. Scored a 2005 SD, SC, Lariat, FX4 LB w/33K. This is an awesome truck. 6.0L powerstroke is incredible. The truck commands the road and most nearby traffic. It's loaded with just about every option and very comfortable. Leather is top quality, roomy, eye appealing inside and out. Handles well for being as big as it is. Have only had it a short time and already getting compliments. Liked the 2005 model changes to the grill best so went with that year. Suits me just fine. If it's like my other Fords, I'll get years of reliable service.
Ruined my life
These trucks were made useless. Had to declare bankruptcy in 2018 for returning a voluntary repossession FORD [non-permissible content removed]. Everyone knows they were garbage made Trucks so bad that they even rolled out a 1600 dollar engine stud upgrade cause the motors would fall apart.

NEW TO THE BIG TRUCKS
This is my first big full size truck and I am truly enjoying the full power of the 6.0 diesel engine. It is smooth on the acceleration even when towing a 24 foot 5th wheel. Only have owned this vehicle for about two months but I already love the way it handles and the better than average fuel mileage for a large engine full size truck. con> The drivers seat could be more confortable, maybe it will get better with more wear. There is a clunk (sounds like the drive shaft) everytime I take of and make a left turn ... read that is normal for the F250HD Overall, I am very happy with this vehicle. It gives a quite ride, fairly good MPH, handles very will, my steering seems tight & true.
