Used 2007 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Great Truck
Great truck, fun to drive, and very reliable. Overall F-150 is the reason Ford is the #1 truck seller in the nation.
2007 Ford F150 SuperCrew
Truck has been 100% reliable. The 4.6 liter engine is great for day to day driving and average payloads and towing. Not good for towing above 5,000 pounds (except on level roads). Overall a great truck!

200k miles later, still running great.
4.6l with 200k miles without a single major repair. Spark plugs and coils at 150k, and a rear pinion seal at 170k. Regular maintenance is all it’s had. Currently sitting at 6000 miles since it’s last oil change, hasn’t burned a drop and the oil is still clean. This thing has at least another 200k in it. Still has original shocks which I plan on replacing soon. doesn’t ride like it used to, which is understandable.

The other bad draw back.....
Overall I love this truck, except the poor design of the starter installation and doing away with the under the hood solenoid. Who designs a starter with not only 3 mounting bolts but then decides to take a major failure out of their biggest competitor GM( Generic morons) and uses the combo solenoid starter and then places where you can't possibly get to the top 2 bolts. I have owned many fords over the last 32 yrs, 3 pintos, mustangs( both an 86 GT and a 75 II) thunderbird, cougar, 2 older f-150's and 2 250's, 94 ranger splash and 99 explorer and never had to change a starter just a solenoid or 2 because of the better design of separate starter/solenoid usage and placement. I have always liked fords and will keep buying just please go back to the old starter/solenoid placement.
Four Years and all is Well!
I have close to 45,000 miles now and still love this truck! I have had one warranty repair, to replace a window switch but other than that no problems. It is without a doubt the nicest truck that I have ever owned. I know somebody with an Escalade; my truck's interior is nicer in fit & finish, they are equipped nearly the same and my truck cost $40,000 less! On top of that they had about 15 items to repair at their last service! I've read about sluggish performance from the F-150, but have not found this to be so. Nor have I had issues with my brakes; at 45,000 miles I've got about 50% of my brake life left and 25% of my tread life left on my tires.
