Great truck!!!
Best truck I have ever owned. Truck has V-6, which is very strong for a V- 6; not great on gas, but fun to drive. My daughter (4 years old)prefers riding in "her" truck rather than mommy's van. Will probably trade soon, to get a crew cab (most likely F-150).
great overall
i have had my truck for a little over a year and i love it. it gets the job done and i have not had to put any money into it. i could not be any happier with it.

v-6 power ????
bought the v-6 5speed 3:55 gears xlt extended cab.no problems except little miner things.rust on bottm of tailgate, after setting parking brake, then releasing it,truck will shimming until i stop completly & back- up.gets about 20-21 m.p.g.great for an everyday driver.trany gearing is all wrong.too high.bring the granny gear trans back.i do pull a car trailor and fullsizederby cars with it.it will pull it but it works it.bilt ford tough.would'nt buy v-6 again.no torqe at all.would definitly buy another ford truck.this is my 4th.
Great truck, 100% satisfied with purchas
This truck has been great to me. Zero problems mechanically, I've taken care of it myself and so far so good. I drive it 20 miles round trip to work every day, plus one or two 150 mile round trips between San Antonio and Austin per week. I also did a 3000 mile road trip with zero incidents. It's bad on fuel economy (I have the 5.4l engine, expect no better than 14 mpg) but the truck has given me no problems. Don't expect neck snapping acceleration with the 5.4l, but it does what it's supposed to. 4x4 works fine, drove in Minnesota snow and had no problems.
excellent
This truck is beast!! It has pulled a 2wd ford off the beach that was stuck. It's drifted around corners, hit junk, been hit by junk, drove through mud holes and anything else I ask it to do and it's done all this without ever even being close to getting stuck or getting damaged cosmetically. I haven't had to do anything but change the oil and it keeps destroying every challenge I give it. Try all that with a Ram 1500, you will be stuck spinning wheels in less than an hour.
