This will be my fourth or fifth Escape in 27 years. I like the Edge and I had three of those. This Escape is the smallest of any of the Escapes that I have owned. Very nimble and quick. It has a small I – 3 engine and is surprisingly peppy for 181 hp. Certainly not as powerful as my previous Escape with 250 hp but it does the job. I paid too much for it due to the chip shortage but what the heck. I actually enjoy driving it more as compared to the Edge in town. Visibility on the Ford Edge is pretty bad. I like it and my wife likes the size.

My 2014 escape had one touch trunk door raise 2022 has to be manually opened and closed overall I love my retirement vehicle

Road noise is absolutely insane. Worst I have had in 40 years of driving Ford. It is absolutely unacceptable. Not to be outdone, the ride quality is even worse. You literally feel every bump in the road. It is jarring. The ride and excessive noise actually give me a headache when I drive it for extended periods. 5000 miles on it and I am done. Trading it off this week.

Very loud road noise, can’t even talk in a normal voice and have someone hear you while sitting next to you. Stiff handling….more like a block of wood with wheels. Suspension is rough…you will feel every bump and crack in the road. Bad gas mileage….500 mile trip…got 25.5 mpg on the highway. It can connect to an I Phone. Plus one.
