Overall, it's been a good vehicle, but compared to the Venture (which we also had), the comfort of the Venture was far better and the interior of the Venture with its Captain's chairs (minus the table as the Uplander has) was easier to access the 3rd row seating. It drives fine but already we have had problems with the air conditioning failing (pinched wires and blown fuses). Headphones with the radio/DVD system in the Venture were an easier fit for the kids.

I sell and own one of these vehicles myself and would recommend it to any customer interested in one. I have owned TrailBlazers, Avalanches and many sedans even sport models. I have a handicapped child and I put my wife and son in it every day with no hesitations. When it comes time to purchase another vehicle I will do another Chevrolet van.

I usually like pickups but this van was a compromise with my wife. It is enjoyable to drive looks great compared to other minivans. The kids love the DVD player with remote headphones. The engine has plenty of power for its purpose, a passenger vehicle, not a race car. The only problems I have had are with the keyless entry remotes not working and the starter slips during humid or wet weather. This has not ever prevented the van from starting.
This Vehicle saved my family's life!

On 9/12/07 I purchased this vehicle and I love it! Comfort, stlye and safety. On 9/30/07 We were victims of a head on collision at a high speed. This car's design saved our lives. We are alive today because my daugther keep this vehicle straight and the front is build to take on a head on collision. We did have injuries but we are alive to tell you about it! I plan on buying another one!! Great family vehicle!
I want to get rid of this van.....

This van has given me problems since day one... it continues to try to start after i turn the key, Chevy flashed something but not even a week went by and it still does it. ABS I had to have a sensor replaced they can't figure out why the ignition still tries to start on its own, I told them about my flicker lights, my mechanic says it has wiring issues, which Chevy denies... I want out of this van some way it will happen....
