Used 2018 Chevrolet Suburban Consumer Reviews
Once you go Suburban you'll never go back
Loved my 2017 so much we got a 2018. 7 people and their luggage on a five-hour trip to the beach and nobody complained. Dual DVD players was a hit.

Best traveling vehicle on the road
This is my 4th Suburban in the last 11 years. I trade every 3 years. There is no better vehicle for long distance traveling. The comfort is superb and you can haul about anything. I used to be a pickup man, until I got a ride in my friends Suburban. The fact that you can cover everything and lock it up on long trips is great for peace of mind. Plus you can access things in the back from the 2nd door instead of crawling over the pickup bed with a topper is a big plus. I'd never go back to a pickup. My lab also likes to be inside much better when we go hunting! You can comfortably cruise for hundreds of miles in a day in this rig.

All the comfort of a luxury car and then some. Rides like a dream and has room to spare. Technology is above most vehicles that I have seen. Love this suburban.

Improved Fuel economy is a big plus!
My 4th Suburban in the last 10 years. I trade about every 3 years. I have the LT Signature edition. We took a 2800 mile trip to the Smoky Mtns in Nov. '17 and averaged 20.1 mpg! That includes a lot of mountain and curve driving and I was very pleased. The freeway driving was at 75 mph. That's about a 2.5 mpg increase over the '14 that I traded in with 55,000 mi with absolutely no problems. I have the cocoa/dune interior and I think that it is very classy and attractive. The only problem I have with the new style Suburban is the sloping rear floor. Twice we have had items roll out the back when the door was opened. One was a glass grocery jar that broke on the asphalt. I'm hoping that they address this issue on the next version. The ride is wonderful and this vehicle is made to take long trips. Jan. 21. Still have the '17 Suburban. Didn't drive as much in 2020 because of the China virus. Decided to keep it for another year as we only have 42,500 miles on it. Had 1 problem in the past year which is really the only real problem I've had going back 12 years and 4 different Suburbans. The electric button on the tailgate ceased to operate so that it wouldn't lift. Had to replace the cable which cost $500 with labor. Otherwise it's been a wonderful vehicle, but now I see that the '21 has the level rear floor, so I'll be looking at one of those next fall. Jan. 22. Still have the '17 Suburban and have had no problems in the past year. I ordered a new '21, but because of supply issues, it looks like I'm getting a '22. I now have 56,000 mi. on it and I couldn't believe the trade in value I received on the '17.

Love my suburban
From sports cars to a Suburban is a huge jump but I honestly love my Suburban; it’s my dog car. It rides like a Cadillac, has lots of room, doesn’t go in the shop constantly for expensive repairs, holds 6 adults very comfortably- even on long trips, plenty of space for luggage and kids stuff. Most of all it’s practically maintenance free. I have it serviced regularly and with over 200’000 miles, it’s an awesome vehicle.
