Our company's sixth Chevy Z71 Silverado Pick-up. Continuously a great truck: strong, reliable, roomy and beyond comfortable for every day. Whether on the construction site or out casual with the family... this truck is my favorite of the bunch.

Solid Truck

Rear seats are comforatable and please both the kids and parents. Access to rear seats with clamshell doors not a problem. Rear seating area has more functional room/features than did the 2001 Xterra that we previously owned. Z71 towing package provides enough axle and shock overhead so as to handle moderate tongue weights with no perceptible impact on suspension.

This truck is awesome! I didn't really like the new front-end at first, but on a Z71 with the black fender flares it looks good. It gets great mileage for what it is, I've got the 4.10 gears in it and I get 18mpg, 70% highway 30% city. The power is amazing! It tows like a freight train. The ride is good thanks to the electronically adjustable shocks, I'm glad I ordered them. I have Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs on it and this thing will go wherever I point it. Snow is a laughing matter, even for a snow novice like myself.

One tough (& impressive-looking) truck!

This truck gives one a sense of "full control" -- as to its' road handling abilities. It handles pot holes and bumps very effectively, resulting in a smooth ride. The 4.8 liter V8 provides more than enough power; in fact, I had to add sand bags for added weight in the bed to reduce spinning tires on takeoff. The engine is also ultra-quiet - even with the hood raised. The only concern so far: on occasion, under during certain low speed conditions, the drive train can be "jerky" on accelleration. Overall, the truck lives up to GMs reputation -- and, is truly built "Like a Rock."

Had To Have One

WOW!!! Saw one yesterday in a mall parking lot....HAD to buy one TODAY. AWESOME AWD. Looked at the standard Lightning...was impressed, but just couldn't buy. Drove the Harley- Davidson model too...didn't like the sound of the supercharger at full tilt. Too noisy. It shrieked like it was coming apart. Plus I didn't like the bucket seats out back. Ths styling is controversal....having owned many Fords over the years, I loved the clean styling of the Chevy. I also liked the Hemi from Dodge, but the Chevy SS won out overall. Hope it holds up to all the hype. I think the gas mileage is the best of all 3. Fords are always THIRSTY, and Premium is required.
