Used 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Consumer Reviews
Great Car, but high $$$ to repair
This was a wonderful first car for me. You'll definately turn a few heads in it. I bought it used with 90,000 miles on it, and it now has 132,000. It still looks great inside and out. The leather interior and just the get-up- and-go of this car is fantastic.
Z34 review
I have owned this car from day one. It is still in great shape. You can not tell it is 8 years old. Only have 54,000 miles on it, but just replaced my second alternator. The brakes went in 30K miles and cost a lot to replace. I enjoy this car a lot. It is geared for a quick acceleration off the line. Revs to 7,000!! However, crap mileage compared to others.

22 Years old and still a great car.
Seems like everyone has had to replace the alternator. I also had to replace the AC compressor, but thats all. Not bad for it's age. Still a great car. Has always had this clunk in the left front that nobody has ever been able to find. I always expect something to eventually fall out or break, but if it hasn't by now, probably isn't going to. It's always garaged and I live in FL so that definitely helps keep a car good.

I Love My Monte Carlo LS
I bought this car used. It has been a dream to own and drive. In the past year I have repainted. Put high quality tunes in it, along with high end goodyear tires. I drive this car 50+ miles 5 dyas a week sometimes more on weekends and have never regretted owning this gem. The satisfaction I get from driving an American made car is another added bonus. I don't miss my high priced imports one bit.
I Love My Monte, but I Have to go!
I just love this car! It has a very nice ride, in fun to drive, and most people like the looks of this vehicle. However, the gas mileage is not too good and I have now replaced the alternator 3 times and it only has 43K miles on this car!!! If that is not bad enough, the cost to repair is outrageous. I'm so concerned about future problems that I am now considering trading in my favorite car for a more reliable one. It's really too bad that I bought it in 95'...should have waited a few years when the rating showed less problems.
