A Great Car

Overall, this is a great car the only problem I have is that it's fuel economy isn't all that good. But, I mean what do you expect, and my vehicle is a V6 therefore the 4 cylinder may be better. But, other than that I love it!

stuck in park

It angers me that other people are having the stuck in park problem. They know there is a problem going on. I also have a bad rotor, need new tires, I bought this with 20,000 on it, have driven it for 7000 miles, it's dead in the church parking lot, won't shift. Thought with only 20,000 miles on it it would be like new.

Good car

2007 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 4dr Sedan (3.9L 6cyl 4A)

My LTZ now has 59K on it (purchased used 2 years ago with 24K). It's a good car with minor issues, especially if you compare the price point to similar makes/models. I have full confidence in the reliability of my Impala. The problems I have had so far are merely minor annoyances: TPMS, wind-noise, alignment issues.

DON'T EVER BUY THIS CAR!!

Over the last 2 years I have spent about $3000 in repairs. The last few months has been the worst. I have had to replace the fuel pump, a.c. compressor, alternator. Fixed multiple different kinds of oil leaks, replaced the engine mounts and now I need to replace the tie rods. Also worth noting both passenger doors now feel like they are not shutting right anymore. This has been a nightmare. I have had it in the shop 4 times in 2 months. It is falling apart at 132k miles. Also the actuator switch causing that horrible clicking inside has been an issue for 4 years. I am over this car. I can't believe how bad. It is. Never buying from Chevy again.

Transmission sucks! Oil consumption! Horrible handling in rain and snow! Lots of vibration and road noise! Clunking in front end! Eats brakes! Very disappointed with this vehicle!
