Used 2007 Chevrolet Impala Consumer Reviews
Great Car
Car is fabulous except I am surprised with paying for a fully loaded car ($28K) that it wouldn't come with climate control. Car runs amazing and is extremely quiet. Glad I purchased it.
The SS impala is a great car
I've had my Impala SS for a alittle under a year now and I love it. I've had to put some work into it since then though, I bought the car with 80,000 miles on it and it was in great condition. Whoever owned it before me took great care of this car. However the repairs i had to make were very costly, i had to replace the alternator, the battery and get a full brake job. Not sure if its something I did to it or if it was just long over due. This car will sometimes turn heads but not that much since I live in the DC area and everyone drives a benz, BMW, infiniti, and some of the other luxury brands. I'm not a fan of the front wheel drive and the interior is lackluster but those are things that are manageable. I love the big factory brand wheels and I can never keep the sunroof closed. The leather seats are comfy and the SS decals are nicely placed throughout the car. The trunk is huge and there is plenty of space in the interior. Dual pipes look nice on the car and overall adds to the performance I think. Its a nice size car and really fun to drive.

Not as good as 2000LS
Had a 2000LS (Great car) and so I bought a 2007 LTZ. The 2007 car is smaller and the back seat has little leg room, leather seats are not comfortable, back seat sholder belts are ratchet type and close to smallest size and won't relase without releasing the belt(everybody that uses these complains there too tight) I'm getting 16 to 19.5 MPG which includes 25% highway driving and 3 cylinder engine mode( I'm an easy driver and this is much worse then the 2000) The outside mirrors are smaller and have a bad blind spot,(beyond me why they don't incorporate a small wide angle mirror into the rearview and why the insurance companies don't promote this). Make sure the car serves your needs!
DO NOT BUY
Nothing but problems out of this car. Bought it when it has 45k miles and already had to replace Water Pump Transmission Numerous Sensors Muffler AC hoses Power Steering Unit I never will buy another GM car, have to get this car repaired every other week and I can't trade because I have so much negative equity.
