Two Design Faults
The Q8 is an excellent piece of engineering except for major safety faults. 1) The layout of the turn signal and cruise control levers is dangerous, a serious human engineering flaw. Any human engineering consultant will confirm why and how. I have never seen a similar bodged layout in any other vehicle. I don't understand why AUDI insists in carrying this mistake over year after year? 2) The turbocharger fails to respond when it is most needed. The delay when starting from a dead stop, almost got me killed at least once. The engine itself is very powerful and responsive. If only they would have stayed with their superchargers. Maybe it is time to go to the competition?

5 years of a very happy car ownership
I’ve had my Q8 for 5 years now and other than the tires being replaced earlier than expected and a faulty sensor in year 2, I couldn’t be happier. More power than I need, more luxury than I deserve, nicest ride I’ve experienced (compared to other cars in its class). Still going strong and looking great!

Be aware 2019 Audi Q8
Be sure you are aware of a fault light that will continue to come on-and may stay on. It is a warning light telling you your oil level is too high-instructing you to release some oil out out the oil chamber. The Audi specialist said it is a recent issue that Audi is acknowledging in some on the newer model cars. Moisture builds up in the oil chamber if you don’t drive the car far commonly enough to dissipate the moisture. The water moisture then triggers the “overfill” sensors, turning on a false warning light. The Audi specialist said, the engine was never at danger for oil spilling and cause any sort of damage. He is hoping Audi Motors will fix the problem. Very nice car. Weak launch at the star.
