Like my Q8
Absolutely love my Q8. A Prestige model with all the technology assists. However, one issue while on cruise control, even after switching off the lane assist, still tries to influence the car steering. That is the only complaint. Everything else is great.

18 Months and 18k later. 2020Q8
Moved into this ride from my SQ5 as wanted a grander SUV. I was sceptical of full on touch screens as I liked knobs etc on SQ5 but have to say quickly adapted and thumbs up. Not so compelling is front storage- could have been assembled more practical- also miss the heated / cooled cup holders had in SQ5. Would have even bought the option. V6 Turbo 335hp is great…only sometime lags in drive mode off the line. Answer is Sport mode. Q8 is deceptively large- think it’s smaller but it’s not. Seats great- backseats as good and great efforts of room. Boot is fine for me and seats go down smoothly. Not sure all the barking about not enough room there. Have the big wheels and upgrade Black package and Sport pkg. All good. Like fact did not have to get some of the other frills like auto cruise and breaking - waste of money if you live in city with stop and go. Bang Olefson $5,500 stereo option a bust for me. That kind of money take it to a high end installer and rip up performance past their unit…which is great but $5500? Finally- price for value, yes expensive BUT get what you pay for overall.

Cool Coupe Styling Cue with Frameless Doors
Power is adequate. It delivers great looks combined with a refined ride and the best looking interior available. Love all the little details associated with the interior deign language. Safety features are exceptional. The MMI is intuitive, feature rich, and enables the driver to customize the lighting, Virtual Cockpit, and driving style with Audi Drive Select. The Luxury and Dynamic Packages add beautiful leather accents, wonderful massage seats, air suspension and rear wheel steering. Overall the vehicle delivers fantastic quality and huge value!

Something good and different from the rest.
Having had Mercedes GL and Lexus GX, I wanted to get a way from these mainstream brands (well, at least less mainstream). G8 is very stylish, and has that either you love it or hate it kind of design affair (similar to X6 or GLE). If there is any question on what package to get, definite go for the S line Plus, it is SICK. That is what sold me on the design. The different between S line Plus and non is night and day. Trust me, you'll want it. If not, it's just a Q7 that looks a bit different. The biggest downside of the Q8 is the minimal storage space. Or I should say the non-existent of storage space. In the center console storage, you can probably fit two smartphone and a couple packs of condoms. The glove compartment can fit a couple of sunglasses and a box of surgical masks. A couple of beanies in the flip down storage right in front of driver's left knee. BUT, who needs storage right? The rear seats are spacious, so is the trunk space. Wait, I forgot to mention the "russian-roulette" kick-open trunk. Out of the 30+ times we have tried, it managed to register TWICE. Even the sales manager at Audi managed to trigger it twice in five tries. Other than that, fabulous car! Get it, you won't regret it. The awesomeness will make you forget all the shortcomings!!!!!!
