Put 80 k miles on this. Traded bc CPO warranty was running out, and I had itch for new car. This car had excellent fuel economy. High mileage warrior - 20k miles/yr. Exterior still looks great. Had excellent road manners. Fast at high speed and super stable at higher speeds. All wheel drive. Tires wore out quickly- May have been my driving style. Interior is 5 stars. Massaging seats nice touch, but just ok. No heated steering wheel in mine?? Bang and Olufsen was impressive, but Lexus Mark Levinsen sounds better in wife’s SUV. Overall cockpit was super. Own another Audi- costs are high out of warranty, so upgraded to a superb Cayenne GTS CPO- with an amazing warranty. Dieselgate was disappointing, but made up for lost $$ in the trade. Worth the buy.

I took delivery of my 2011 A8L earlier this week. I live in the midwest where we received several inches of snow, which turned to ice covering most roads. I had my A8L only one day when I was able to test it in these conditions. I love this car. It handles great in the snow. Prior to my purchase I tested a Benz S550 and a BMW 750LiX drive turbo. Hands down the Audi is the best value for the money. The instruments are a bit complicated, but once you get used to them you appreciate all the car can do. The Audi A8L is very understated, which is one of the reasons why I chose it. I have the Bang and Olufsen sound system and it is amazing.

I have only had the car for two weeks, so I can't accurately comment on the reliability---but all other aspects I rated as execllent, so I expect the relaibiilty to be the same. Anyway, I owned an Audi A4 which was very reliable. I understand I'm still on my "honeymoon" with this car, but so far it is great---I have owned: MB E320 and C280, Acura Legend and TLS, Lexus ES330, BMW 530i and 535i, Mazda Millenia and RX7, Honda Civic and Accord, and even a Triumph TR6---of course, any new car will have features unheard of a few years ago---but the A8 is everything the (just about unanimous) positive revews describe.
