Great car
An excellent vehicle that looks great and drives better! Very sporty, nice luxury touches, utility of a hatchback, lots of power and good fuel economy. This car seems to have everything going for it.
Fun, Utility, and an Excellent Value
After 5 months of ownership, I can recommend this car. If you buy specs, you may get something else, but I'm pretty confident the 2.0T's 200hp rating is a little conservative. Engine is flexible, strong & has delivered 27mpg overall (22-26 town, 28-32 hwy). Premium pack's suspension is comfortable, but can handle spirited driving. DSG is outstanding & you can use the paddle shifters even in the automatic modes (Drive/Sport). Quality interior w/ room for 4 adults. The all-season Pirelli's have been better than expected, once broken in- sure-footed in the wet & fairly capable in the corners. Great car for commuting, road trips & just plain fun.

Great Car So Far!
I have had my A3 for 2 months now, without any problems or concerns. Handles great, plenty of power, and pretty good gas mileage, 25 city, 28 overall. The Bose audio is great, hearing parts of songs that I have not heard without headphones. Only a few items to consider. First, the rear hatch / storage is pretty little; so little that I had to take out the woods to get my golf bag in and had to angle my driver to get it to fit. I also probably would not get the navigation system, it works fine, but there are handheld devices that are a lot less expensive. For guys over 6'1" it might be a bit small, plus the back seat would be tight for adults, but not my kids.
Brilliant
Brilliant Black with Gray Leather as equipped: Navigation & Sound Package Sport Package Open Sky Cold Weather Xenon Bluetooth Ive had it a month now, and I am thoroughly impressed... Whether it is around town, or on five hour road trips, this car is a lot of fun to drive. Acceleration and braking are superb -- and fuel economy is remarkable considering there is a 200 hp engine under the hood. The A3 has plenty of get-up-and-go even in DC traffic. The fit and finish of the car is flawless. The metal latches and handles and upscale materials rival cars that cost substantially more. Although very comfortable, my A3 has manually adjustable seats and that is just wrong.
