Used 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Consumer Reviews
Best car I’ve ever owned
This is the most enthralling car I’ve ever owned and one of the best I’ve ever driven. In the nearly year I’ve had it so far, I have not had to spend a cent on repairs. I have only taken the car to the shop for warranty work/software updates twice in that time, but both times were not due to any problem and solely due to me wanting to make sure everything was up to date since I bought it pre-owned. My only real complaint about the car is that it’s not the most comfortable car in the world, but then again I got the Ti Sport trim and not the Lusso so I asked for this. I went from a 2018 Nissan Maxima to a Giulia Ti Sport and I can honestly say that the Nissan has much more comfortable seats but the Giulia has been less problematic and much more enjoyable overall!

So far so good
This is my 3rd Alfa, I had a 72 Spider and 74 GTV 2000. This car keeps the experience going in every way. Very nimble in the corners, fast when you want it to be, precise and light steering feel. Tons of comments from people and long stares from car guys! I have been lucky that all the electronics are working well and have only been in for a software upgrade and oil change. Will be buying it. Glad I got the sports seats - only way to go. Should have gotten the 19-in wheels, LSD and adaptive suspension but this one was on the lot. Service mgr said the 18-in wheel is good for every day driving to ward off pinch flats vs the 19. The RFT Bridgestones not my fav but they are about shot and I will go for P7's. Wheel upgrade to 19 is tempting and I can then have a winter and summer set of wheels/tires. Don't believe the Alfa bashers but at the same time there appear to be some that are plagued by electronic gremlins early in life.

This is a fun car.
After five years I still like how this car looks and handles. I have found it reliable with only regular service. Alfa USA was very supportive during the pandemic. I purchased an extended five year warranty through the dealer just in case my good fortune doesn’t continue. If I had more miles, I would purchase another Giulia.

Worst quality and warranty ever
I have owned bmw 335i and audi q5(still owning it). This is first time owning an Italian car. In fact, I only have it for 6 and half days (only drove 160 miles), it broke. Two engine lights on. Brought to dealership and they refuse to cover it in warranty claiming that there is a wire chewed lose by rat and I have to pay for it! I have 2 other cars parking in the same parking lot/garage for past 4 years (still parking there every night) and never had a problem. This car sit in their parking lot for about 6 month (built in April 2017 and I bought it in mid Nov 2017) and sit in my parking lot/garage for only 6 nights, they blame on me for rat damage! Oh, another thing, on the day of delivery, the power seats wasn't working, but restart the car solved the issue. Unbelievable quality and unbelievable service. For luxury car, the most value the badge carries is the service. And Alfa Romeo failed on that. I deeply regret getting myself into this trouble. Luckily I only leased it for 27 month. Word of advice: stay away from it.

Great Car QUAD rocks!
Bought this car for a airport/errand car and find myself driving it more than my 488 or Huracan and even full sized RR. Just a blast to drive and I've owned every brand under the sun many times over. From $50-$400k. This car is just blast and fun to get up and go. I own Quad so cannot speak to other models, but this is the one to own. Great car to have a blast and not worry about where you are parking it like Ferrari. Just a great daily. Thinking about dumping my new RR and just use this car instead.
