Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
So far...... so and so.....
Bought the car in July 2019, now it has 22k in the speedometer. It is a beautiful SUV with comfortable seats, powerful engine, no mechanic issues. It went thru the recall for the fuel pump, no problems. BUT........ the sound system has a crackling and popping issue thru the speakers. This has been an issue plenty discussed in all forums. The car has been 3 times in service. they make a light fix and after two or three weeks it comes again. Very frustrating when the guys at service tell you "we don't know what else to do". Imagine, if the manufacturer can not fix the issue, what am I supposed to do? Now it comes and go intermitentlly, very annoying. Some kind of a bumpy ride for a $40k luxury SUV . The infamous "clack" in the sunroof when you pull out from the driveway and the body twists..... Dealer already changed the sunroof mechanism they found the frame was broken. Now it is doing it again and the sunroof rattles. Brakes very squeeky and noisy at low speeds. the changed them but squeeking again. In summary, the quality control for the Acuras has gone downhill. I have owned 10 Hondas and they have been good and reliable. a thing here or there may be expected, but no when you pay $15k more for a "luxurious" version. When I bougth this car I had BMW X3 and MB GLC as options, but went with Acura since for the base price the Acura had a lot of std equipment and features, and I was planning to keep the vehicle for at least 10 years, and you can not do that with a BMW and MB that you will need to trade to avoid for common expensive repairs after the warranty expires. Its a shame that I am being forced to trade a such beautiful and good mechanic SUV for something else. Just waiting for the year end sales and offers to trade it. Sorry Acura, you really messed up this time....

We love this car
So far after 5 days this car is a pleasure to drive, we are still learning all of the features that our older car did not have.

I really enjoy my new car! The drive is smooth and I got the Bronze color! I got it with the technology package!
Transmission delay,
This acura started having transmission problem after a month we bought. We brought to dealership and they said computer was learning the driving skills of the driver which is me. I kept driving even though it was extremly dangerous cuz it lose power suddenly on freeway. After 2years, I called Acura dealer again and tbey said the car is still learning.... I know Honda has the worst transmission reputation and I got tricked again.. Don't waste your money and time. Go get Toyota or Lexus. You won't regret.

Awesome car in almost every way
I've owned close to 30 cars in my life, and at 65 years old I remember how crappy cars used to be. After 10,000 miles, my 2019 (used) RDX Advance rates #1 of all those cars (including a Porsche 911). There are so many useful features, and I'm still discovering more. The 2L turbocharged engine is surprisingly powerful and the exhaust is pleasingly throaty for such a small engine. The car is very sporty. I got the 2-tone (gray and black) interior with real wood accents, which looks awesome. The seats are more comfortable on my hip and lumbar problems than any car I've owned. After 10,000 miles under my ownership, the automatic braking system already prevent a rear-end crash that would have totaled the car. The cruise control produces a virtual self-driving experience... you just need to steer. The only complaint I have is the push-button transmission, which is slightly (but annoyingly) slower to shift than a regular transmission shifter...but I can live with it. At 36,000 miles the heater/AC fan speed is screwing up, but the car is still under warranty and I don't expect any car to be problem-free. On a 10-point scale, I'd give my car a 9.5 overall. The exterior lines of the car (gray exterior looks best to my eye) are very nice, and the headlight design is arguably the best out there. It looks better than the Audis and other comparable models on the road. I pretty much love the car, and have only mentioned a fraction of the nice features.
