Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
Nice drive but lousy brake noise for a premium
I have a lease of a Acura RDX 2019, and this car is a nice drive until the brake start to sound like grinding at every release of brake and when push to stop. Took it over 3 times to garage and nothing can be done. Contacted Acura manufactured and they have more complains but they are investigating this case and it looks like no one is responsible to find a solution. This is not way to handle premium. I had other premium brands and no complain. This never again and I wont recommend it either to anyone. I have to deal with a lease of 39 months (still 30 months to go) and pay a high monthly payment for a vehicle that sounds like an old wreck when braking.

Awesome car in almost every way
I've owned close to 30 cars in my life, and at 65 years old I remember how crappy cars used to be. After 10,000 miles, my 2019 (used) RDX Advance rates #1 of all those cars (including a Porsche 911). There are so many useful features, and I'm still discovering more. The 2L turbocharged engine is surprisingly powerful and the exhaust is pleasingly throaty for such a small engine. The car is very sporty. I got the 2-tone (gray and black) interior with real wood accents, which looks awesome. The seats are more comfortable on my hip and lumbar problems than any car I've owned. After 10,000 miles under my ownership, the automatic braking system already prevent a rear-end crash that would have totaled the car. The cruise control produces a virtual self-driving experience... you just need to steer. The only complaint I have is the push-button transmission, which is slightly (but annoyingly) slower to shift than a regular transmission shifter...but I can live with it. At 36,000 miles the heater/AC fan speed is screwing up, but the car is still under warranty and I don't expect any car to be problem-free. On a 10-point scale, I'd give my car a 9.5 overall. The exterior lines of the car (gray exterior looks best to my eye) are very nice, and the headlight design is arguably the best out there. It looks better than the Audis and other comparable models on the road. I pretty much love the car, and have only mentioned a fraction of the nice features.

Great car, falls short on the Nav System
I am a long time Acura customer. I owned the first years of MDX, TL, and RDX and have waned or leased 8 Acuras. The quality of the cars have all been good. Literally, no repairs in what would 25 Acura years. The dealership is superb. They have always been problematic with tech stuff. MDX had a poor phone/bluetooth setup. Way too complicated. They have improved horsepower, torque, ride quality but cannot get the tech stuff straight. My NAV system is bad enough I don't use it. It takes me on rides that are bizarre. They need a setting for "surprise me" or "scare the crap out of me". The system for my second last RDX was at least 300ft off which is a disaster if you're in a small neighborhood with one way streets. My sense is that they don't intend to fix this or they would have. Sadly, I will try a Lexus next time.

RDX Advanced
Love the SUV! There is a learning curve. Driver's seat looks more like a fighter jet's cockpit at night than a car.
