Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
I was text driving 2019 accura rdx
I currently finished a 3 year lease of 2015 Accura RDX and went to dealership to exchange my 2015 for 2019 model and for 3 more years. 2015 model has some issues with navigation, system was slow, not accurate, could not find addresses; engine would stall from time to time specially on low mphs; however overall it was a good enough car to give it 3 more years. I experienced the total shock when I saw what they did with the car and how horribly it got re-designed. Its totally ugly outside, but its horrific inside. They removed large storage, and removed extra storage for glasses, and added a PAD, a PAD that you have to use your FINGER to operate, and that PAD operates every function of the car except for navigation. So the space in the car where you are supposed to put your bag is now taken by a pad that operates music, climate, phone, messages, blue tooth, etc, etc, ect. The shift column is ridiculous, it has button and pulls working in different directions, so you have to pull for reverse and push for drive - the stupidity of that design left me completely wordless. And the final nail - navigation - it was not that great, based on all current reviews, it does not work most of the time; but it is also made to be operated by voice....WHAT? It does not recognize even the slightest accent, we tried different addresses for about 20 minutes, and not once it understood the names. Also the car only works with apple products. Our family only buys Android, we do not support Apple. So I say a NO NO NO to this car. Returning my 2015 and saying buy buy forever to Acura. Just a note to the designers of this car - marijuana is legal in many states, but it is not required to smoke it before you design a new car.

RDXcellent
I've owned several RDXs and this is by far the best. I've owned a lot of SUVs as well, and this one is the best combination of performance, luxury and safety. It's hard to describe what it's like to drive this car other than to say it feels about perfect for an SUV, quiet but with a purposefully sporting sound, the seats are the best I have ever experienced in anything other than a Porsche, and the overall sense of driving this car is that it is luxurious, sporting, safe, extremely well balanced, with great audio, great comfort and a wonderful sense of being in complete control of the road.

RDX-2019RED
If you like red in cars, then the 2019 RDX is a supurb shade of red. My wife and I had the same package in a Black 2017 RDX. The 2017 RDX had a 6-cylinder engine, and the 2019 RDX has a 4-cylinder. We can't tell much difference in performance; however, on highway driving, we feel the 6-cylinder got better gas milage. We also do not like getting into the 2019 navigation system as easy as we did the 2017 RDX system.

Great car, falls short on the Nav System
I am a long time Acura customer. I owned the first years of MDX, TL, and RDX and have waned or leased 8 Acuras. The quality of the cars have all been good. Literally, no repairs in what would 25 Acura years. The dealership is superb. They have always been problematic with tech stuff. MDX had a poor phone/bluetooth setup. Way too complicated. They have improved horsepower, torque, ride quality but cannot get the tech stuff straight. My NAV system is bad enough I don't use it. It takes me on rides that are bizarre. They need a setting for "surprise me" or "scare the crap out of me". The system for my second last RDX was at least 300ft off which is a disaster if you're in a small neighborhood with one way streets. My sense is that they don't intend to fix this or they would have. Sadly, I will try a Lexus next time.
