I really like the car when everything is working properly but we had a u-joint go out earlier this year ($1200) and here we are 5 months later needing a new ENGINE! $8500!! WARRANTY OUT! We had a 2003 Honda Pilot that was 14 years old with 300,000 miles that got ran like a dog that NEVER faltered once! I babied the Acura getting it serviced regularly with not half the miles and the Pilot like I said never got the care our MDX got and I’ll guarantee it’s still running somewhere while that beautiful Acura is broke down again in my driveway.

Roadside Assistance from Hell

Had a dead battery. Acura Roadside Assistance sent Royal Towing. The guy didn't know how to open hood. Couldn't jump. Second row operator couldn't jump either. He couldn't tow because he needed special tool to put car in neutral. Push button transmission doesn't work without battery power. Third tow truck driver said he wasn't going to waste his time unless cash was paid. Acura Roadside Assistance is suppose to be free? Fourth Towing county, Advantage finally got it. They were a pleasure to deal with unlike Acura Roadside Assistance personal.

Had a 2004 MDX for many years and felt that it was the best ever and just purchased this 2017. Have had it for a a couple years and we are still learning all about it. The ride and performance is great. The technology features are still a problem. Seems like we frequently checking with UTUBE on how to do something or redo something that has happened. At times it feels like there is just too much on it and you have to go through many layers to fix and/or change.
