Still a modern classic!

20 years old and it still looks and performs great! Styling is beautifully timeless, sleek, and unmistakably Ferrari (Pininfarina design). Interior is simple and roomy with an uncluttered steering wheel. V8 3.6L naturally aspirated engine has been solid and pulls strong in any gear with 400hp and 275lb/ft of torque. It helps that the all aluminum body and chassis only weighs around 3,000lbs. The F1 transmission (apparently about 90% of 360s made) in my care has been reliable and still very exciting to drive if not a bit rough compared to today's lightning fast F1 transmissions. Expect a to pay a premium for the polished, gated stick shift three pedal version. Considered one of the first "modern" Ferraris, maintenance costs are relatively low, especially compared to its predecessors (no need to remove engine anymore for cam belts). I've owned mine for over 7 years and put about 1.5k miles per year. It's been a very reliable and extraordinary fun car to own and drive. I regularly use it around town and once per year take it on a road trip from NYC to Montréal for the Grand Prix. Still considered pretty fast, handles amazingly, easy to drive, and reasonable from ownership and maintenance perspective. Missing the convenience of cup holders. What I love the most about this car is the sound of the exhaust from the high revving (8,500 rpm redline) V8 with Tubi muffler. I have about 23k miles on the car now. At 17k miles I replace the clutch.

So much quicker than my previous 355 F1 spider. More sexier exterior. Much roomier interior. The F1 gearbox is much smoother.

I've owned Porsche's,Audi's,Mercede's,Jaguar's and driven everyhing else. Nothing comes close to this in performance, balance, style and design. A sculpture of fine art. If I could build a room with a glass wall and keep my car in it I would. Simply one of the most exciting puchases I have ever made. Most people are overwhelmed when they see the car. Rarely do I ever encounter another!

This is by far the best car that I have ever driven. If you are thinking of buying one I highly suggest it, and let me tell you it's the best bang for your buck.
